侮慢人以兇惡之言、議論凌虐之事、言語盡由狂傲而出、肆口謗毀天主、縱舌評論世人、因此其民亦歸於此、盈滿之水、遂而吸盡、曰、天主有何分曉、至上之主有何見識、

匠人手所作石鑿金鑄之偶像、主所憎惡、有隱製而立者、必受咒詛、眾民當應曰、阿們、

列國之偶像、或金或銀、為人手所造、有口不能言、有目不能視、有耳不能聞、且口無呼吸之氣、造之者與賴之者皆與之無異、

天主在猶大為人所識、在以色列族中、其名為大、主之宮殿在撒冷、主之居所在郇山、

爾曹所至者、乃郇山、永生天主之城、天上之耶路撒冷、在彼有千萬天使聚集、

我與列祖如何待列邦、爾豈不知乎、列邦之神、能救其國脫於我手乎、我列祖所滅諸國、何國之神、能救其民脫於我手、獨爾之神、能救爾脫於我手乎、勿為希西家所誑所誘、勿信其言、蓋無一國一民之神、曾救其民於我、及我列祖之手、則爾之神必不能救爾於我手、西拿基立之臣僕、更有言侮謗主天主及其僕希西家、西拿基立致書、謗讟主以色列之天主、訕之曰、列邦之神、未救其民脫於我手、希西家之神、亦不能救其民脫於我手、

蓋異邦人之禮儀虛偽、所敬者乃木、伐於林中、工師以斧製之、

自他施攜擣薄之銀、亦自烏法攜金以飾之、木工銀工作之、衣紫與絳、巧工所織、

因主選擇郇城、樂為駐蹕之所、曰、此乃我永居之處、我所喜愛者、我必居於此間、

因其舉手抗拒天主、妄恃己力、侮慢全能之主、挺身前趨、取厚盾以敵之、

斯民棄我、為他神他神或作異邦之神下同焚香、崇拜己手所作者、肆行惡事、故我擬定必加之懲罰、

爾曹在彼、將事木石之神、即人手所作、不能見、不能聞、不能食、不能嗅者、

惡人因何輕慢主、彼心中以為主不尋究、其實主已觀察、殘忍毒害、主皆明見、報應在主手、貧民可以倚賴主、孤子必蒙主救助、

但選猶大支派、選所悅之郇山、

僕能殺獅熊、此未受割禮之非利士人、侮辱永生天主之軍旅、亦必與獅熊無異、

以其半焚於火、即用以烹肉而食、或炙肉食以果腹、又藉以暖體、曰、噫、我溫矣、覺熱矣、所餘即作神像偶像、俯伏其前叩拜、禱之曰、求爾救我、因爾即我神、惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、心不思維、無識無知、獨不自問曰、此木之半、我焚之於火、在其炭上炊餅炙肉而食、則其所餘、豈可用作可憎之偶像、豈可俯伏而拜塊木乎、彼如以灰為食、中心昏昧、入於迷途、不知自救、不自曰、我右手所作、悉屬虛妄、

以色列人與猶大人、自立國以來、自立國以來原文作自其幼時惟行惡於我前、以色列人手所作所為、惟干我震怒、此乃主所言、
