大衛的兒子所羅門鞏固他的國度；耶和華－他的上帝與他同在，使他極其尊大。

你又帶着王和謀士樂意獻給住耶路撒冷、以色列上帝的金銀，和你在巴比倫全省所得的一切金銀，以及百姓、祭司甘心獻給耶路撒冷他們上帝殿的禮物，那麼，你就當用這銀子急速買公牛、公綿羊、小綿羊，和同獻的素祭、澆酒祭，獻在耶路撒冷你們上帝殿的壇上。剩下的金銀，你和你的弟兄看怎樣好，就怎樣用，但總要遵照你們上帝的旨意。你要帶着交託給你、在上帝殿中事奉用的器皿，到耶路撒冷上帝面前。你上帝殿裏若再有需用的經費，是你負責供應的，可以從王的寶庫裏支取。「我亞達薛西王又降旨達於河西所有的司庫：『精通天上之上帝律法的以斯拉祭司文士無論向你們要甚麼，你們要速速辦理，直至一百他連得銀子，一百柯珥麥子，一百罷特酒，一百罷特油，鹽不限其數。

他們各帶貢物，就是銀器、金器、衣服、兵器、香料、馬、騾子，每年都有一定的數量。

基達的羊羣都聚集到你這裏，尼拜約的公羊供你使用，獻在我壇上蒙悅納；我必榮耀我那榮耀的殿。那些飛來如雲、又像鴿子飛向窗戶的是誰呢？眾海島必等候我，他施的船隻領先，將你的兒女，連同他們的金銀從遠方帶來，這都因以色列的聖者、耶和華－你上帝的名，因為他已經榮耀了你。

他施和海島的王要進貢，示巴和西巴的王要獻禮物。

於是，示巴女王把一百二十他連得金子、極多的香料和寶石送給所羅門王；送來的香料，從來沒有像示巴女王送給他的那麼多。

有些非利士人送禮物，進貢銀子給約沙法。阿拉伯人也送他七千七百隻公綿羊，七千七百隻公山羊。

所羅門統治諸國，從大河到非利士地，直到埃及的邊界。所羅門在世的日子，這些國都向他進貢，服事他。

進了房子，看見小孩子和他母親馬利亞，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭開寶盒，拿出黃金、乳香、沒藥，作為禮物獻給他。

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的上帝是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心願，使耶路撒冷耶和華的殿得榮耀，

耶和華使所羅門在以色列眾人眼前非常尊大，賜他君王的威嚴，勝過他以前任何一位以色列王。

就派他兒子約蘭到大衛王那裏，向他請安，為他祝福，因他與哈大底謝爭戰，並且擊敗了他；原來哈大底謝與陀以常常爭戰。約蘭手裏帶了金銀銅的器皿來。大衛王把這些器皿分別為聖，連同他制伏各國所分別為聖的金銀，獻給耶和華，

因你耶路撒冷的殿，列王必帶貢物獻給你。

於是示巴女王把一百二十他連得金子、極多的香料和寶石送給所羅門王；從來沒有像示巴女王送給所羅門王那麼多的香料。希蘭的僕人和所羅門的僕人也從俄斐運了金子來，又運了檀香木和寶石來。
