『你們要剛強壯膽，不要因亞述王和跟隨他的許多蜂擁軍兵而懼怕驚慌；因為和我們同在的比和他們同在的大。

強乃心、壯乃志、勿因亞述王與所率之大軍、畏葸恐惶、蓋偕我者、較偕彼者尤大也、

強乃志、壯乃心、亞述王率軍旅以來、毋懼、蓋助我者、較助彼者眾、

“ Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.

“ Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the One with us is greater than the one with him.

“ Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.

神人说：“不要惧怕！与我们同在的比与他们同在的更多。”

我还有末了的话：你们要靠着主，倚赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。

既是这样，还有什么说的呢？神若帮助我们，谁能敌挡我们呢？

小子们哪，你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。

他说：“犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民，和约沙法王，你们请听。耶和华对你们如此说：‘不要因这大军恐惧惊惶；因为胜败不在乎你们，乃在乎神。

万军之耶和华如此说：“当建造万军之耶和华的殿，立根基之日的先知所说的话，现在你们听见，应当手里强壮。

万军之耶和华如此说：在那些日子，必有十个人从列国诸族中出来，拉住一个犹大人的衣襟，说：‘我们要与你们同去，因为我们听见神与你们同在了。’”

你若谨守遵行耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章，就得亨通。你当刚强壮胆，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。

你们当刚强壮胆，不要害怕，也不要畏惧他们，因为耶和华你的神和你同去。他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。”摩西召了约书亚来，在以色列众人眼前对他说：“你当刚强壮胆！因为，你要和这百姓一同进入耶和华向他们列祖起誓应许所赐之地；你也要使他们承受那地为业。

以赛亚对他们说：“要这样对你们的主人说，耶和华如此说：‘你听见亚述王的仆人亵渎我的话，不要惧怕。我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地。我必使他在那里倒在刀下。’”

耶和华嘱咐嫩的儿子约书亚说：“你当刚强壮胆，因为你必领以色列人进我所起誓应许他们的地；我必与你同在。”

他说：“大蒙眷爱的人哪，不要惧怕，愿你平安！你总要坚强。”他一向我说话，我便觉得有力量，说：“我主请说，因你使我有力量。”

大卫又对他儿子所罗门说：“你当刚强壮胆去行！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。因为耶和华神就是我的神，与你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你，直到耶和华殿的工作都完毕了。

你当刚强壮胆！因为你必使这百姓承受那地为业，就是我向他们列祖起誓应许赐给他们的地。只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶；因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的神必与你同在。”

对胆怯的人说：“你们要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪，你们的神必来报仇，必来施行极大的报应；他必来拯救你们。”

也不要听希西家使你们倚靠耶和华，说耶和华必要拯救我们，这城必不交在亚述王的手中。’

你当谨慎，因耶和华拣选你建造殿宇作为圣所。你当刚强去行。”

我儿啊，你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来。
