在耶和華室築壇、昔耶和華指此室而言曰、我名必永在耶路撒冷、

昔耶和華曰、耶路撒冷必為籲我名之所、永世勿替、而馬拿西在耶和華殿之二院築壇、奉事天象。

在主之殿宇建祭壇、昔主云、我名必永在耶路撒冷、所言即指此殿、

He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”

He built altars in the Lord’ s temple. The Lord had said about his temple,“ My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.”

He built pagan altars in the Temple of the Lord, the place where the Lord had said,“ My name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”

He built altars in the LORD’s temple, where the LORD had said,“ Jerusalem is where my name will remain forever.”

He built altars in the house of the Lord of which the Lord had said,“ My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”

He also built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem shall My name be forever.”

And he built altars in the house of Jehovah, whereof Jehovah said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

He built altars in the Lord’s temple, where Yahweh had said,“ Jerusalem is where My name will remain forever.”

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

He built altars in the LORD’s temple, about which the LORD had said,“ Jerusalem will be my permanent home.”

He built altars in Yahweh’s house, of which Yahweh said,“ My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”

I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. (niv)

Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name— there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord. (niv)

But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’ (niv)

May your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, this place of which you said,‘ My Name shall be there,’ so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place. (niv)

He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem I will put my Name.”In the two courts of the temple of the Lord, he built altars to all the starry hosts. (niv)

He got rid of the foreign gods and removed the image from the temple of the Lord, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city. (niv)

They spoke about the God of Jerusalem as they did about the gods of the other peoples of the world— the work of human hands. (niv)

In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father David. In his twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of high places, Asherah poles and idols.Under his direction the altars of the Baals were torn down; he cut to pieces the incense altars that were above them, and smashed the Asherah poles and the idols. These he broke to pieces and scattered over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them. (niv)

“‘ The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the Lord. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it. (niv)

The Lord said to him:“ I have heard the prayer and plea you have made before me; I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my Name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. (niv)
