凡有关耶和华的事，由亚玛利雅大祭司监督你们；凡有关君王的事，由犹大支派的族长以实玛利的儿子西巴第雅监督你们。利未人做官长协助你们。你们要行事勇敢，愿耶和华与正直的人同在！”

以斯哈族的基拿尼雅及其众子做官长和士师，为以色列管理圣殿以外的事务。希伯仑族的哈沙比雅及其亲族一千七百人都很能干，他们在以色列的约旦河以西办理耶和华和王的事务。

其中有两万四千人在耶和华的殿里司职，六千人做官长和审判官，四千人守门，四千人用大卫提供的乐器颂赞耶和华。
