She said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,

Huldah said to them,“ The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Here is what you should tell the man who sent you to me.

She said to them,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

耶利米就对他们说：“你们要对西底家这样说：‘耶和华以色列的神这样说：看哪！我必使你们手中的武器，就是你们用来与城外围困你们的巴比伦王和迦勒底人作战的武器，转回堆积在这城的中心。我必在怒气、烈怒和忿怒中，用伸出来的手和强有力的膀臂，亲自攻击你们。我要击打住在这城的人和牲畜，他们都要因极大的瘟疫而死。然后，我必把犹大王西底家和他的臣民，就是在这城里经过瘟疫、刀剑之灾和饥荒而幸存的人，都交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒和他们的仇敌，以及寻索他们性命的人的手中。尼布甲尼撒要用刀剑击杀他们，绝不顾惜，不留情，不怜悯。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

“耶和华以色列的神这样说：你们要对差派你们来求问我的犹大王这样说：‘看哪！那出来帮助你们的法老的军队，必回到他们的埃及本地去。迦勒底人必回来，攻击这城，占领这城，放火烧毁这城。’耶和华这样说：你们不要自己欺骗自己，说：‘迦勒底人必定离开我们！’因为他们必不离开。即使你们击败了那攻打你们的迦勒底全军，他们中间只剩下一些受重伤的人，他们也必各从自己的帐棚里起来，放火烧毁这城。’”

她对他们说：“耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘告诉那差你们到我这里来的人说：耶和华这样说：看哪，我要照着犹大王所念那书卷上所有的话，使灾祸降临在这地方和它的居民身上，因为他们背弃了我，向别的神焚香。他们所行的一切都使我发怒，因此我的怒火要在这地方燃点，不会熄灭。至于那差你们来求问耶和华的犹大王，你们要这样对他说：耶和华以色列的神这样说：有关你所听见的话，你听见我攻击这地方和它的居民的话，就是他们要成为荒凉，受咒诅，你的心就顺服，在我面前谦卑，又撕裂自己的衣服，在我面前哀哭，我已经听到了。这是耶和华的宣告。因此，看哪，我要使你归到你的祖先那里，你必平平安安地葬在你的坟墓里；你不会看见我要降在这地的一切灾祸。’”他们就把这话向王回报。
