就是听见我指着这地和其上居民所说的话，你便心里敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允了你。这是我耶和华说的。

爾聞我指此地、與其居民所言、乃中心柔順、自卑於上帝前、裂衣哭泣、我俞允爾、耶和華言之矣、

知我譴責斯邑、爰及民人、爾則中心畏懼、自怨自艾、裂衣泣哭於我前、我允爾祈、

Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he spoke against this place and its people, and because you humbled yourself before me and tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the Lord.

The Lord says,“ Your heart was tender. You made yourself humble in my sight. You heard what I spoke against this place and its people. So you made yourself humble. You tore your royal robes and wept. And I have heard you,” announces the Lord.

because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord.

You were sorry and humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this city and its people. You humbled yourself and tore your clothing in despair and wept before me in repentance. And I have indeed heard you, says the Lord.

後、希西家除其驕心、與耶路撒冷居民自卑、故希西家存日、主不降之以災、○

王聞律法之言、自裂其衣、

至高至上永生、名為聖主者如是云、我雖居至高聖所、亦與痛悔者虛心者偕居、使謙卑者心蘇、使痛悔者心蘇、

猶底讀三四行、王遂以繕寫所用之刀割之、投於鑪之火中、待卷焚盡於鑪之火中、王與其諸臣聽此諸言、竟不畏懼、亦不裂衣、

主見其自卑、則諭先知示瑪雅曰、彼既自卑、我不滅之、使其略獲拯救、不藉示撒手洩我怒於耶路撒冷、

賦爾以新心、使爾衷存更新之志、自爾體中去其剛愎之心、剛愎之心原文作石心賜爾以柔順之心、柔順之心原文作肉心

主諭之曰、爾巡行耶路撒冷邑中、凡因邑中所行可憎之事、嗟嘆欷歔者、則畫號於其額上、

心中悲傷者、主與之相近、心中痛悔者、主必拯救、

主歟、窮苦人所求者、主常垂聽、堅固其心、側耳聽其祈禱、

彼尚未祈、我已允之、彼適禱告、彼適禱告原文作彼言未畢我已聽之、

猶大王遣爾曹問主、爾曹當如是告之曰、主以色列之天主如是云、爾約西亞聞斯言、聞我指此處與其居民所言、曰、此處必為荒墟、居民必受咒詛、爾則中心敬服、於我前自卑、裂衣、哭於我前、故我俯聽爾、使爾平康歸爾列祖、歸爾墓中、我所將降於此處之諸災、不使爾目睹之、此乃主所言、使者返、復言於王、

其祈禱蒙允、其一切罪愆、未自卑以前在何處築邱壇、立亞舍拉及偶像、俱載於何賽何賽或作先見之書、

然彼賜恩尤大、故曰、天主擯斥驕傲者、賜恩於謙卑者、是以爾當服天主、爾敵魔、則魔必離爾、近天主、則天主必近爾、爾有罪者當盥手、爾懷二心者當潔心、當自苦、哀痛哭泣、爾之笑、易之以哀、爾之樂、易之以憂、當自卑於主前、則主必高舉爾、○

主曰、此諸物皆我手所造、此諸物皆我使有、凡困苦者、心憂傷者、敬畏我名者、我必眷顧、

主所欲之祭、在乎憂傷痛悔、憂傷痛悔之心、主必不輕視、

瑪拿西於患難中禱主其天主、在列祖之天主前、極其自卑、

此希西家曾廢天主之邱壇與祭臺、且命猶大及耶路撒冷民曰、爾惟在一祭臺前崇拜、在此祭臺上焚香、我與列祖如何待列邦、爾豈不知乎、列邦之神、能救其國脫於我手乎、
