Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the territory belonging to the Israelites, and he had all who were present in Israel serve the Lord their God. As long as he lived, they did not fail to follow the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Josiah removed all the statues of false gods from the whole territory that belonged to the Israelites. The Lord hated those statues. Josiah had everyone in Israel serve the Lord their God. As long as he lived, they didn’t fail to follow the Lord, the God of their people.

And Josiah took away all the abominations from all the territory that belonged to the people of Israel and made all who were present in Israel serve the Lord their God. All his days they did not turn away from following the Lord, the God of their fathers.

So Josiah removed all detestable idols from the entire land of Israel and required everyone to worship the Lord their God. And throughout the rest of his lifetime, they did not turn away from the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

So Josiah removed everything that was detestable from all the lands belonging to the Israelites, and he required all who were present in Israel to serve the LORD their God. Throughout his reign they did not turn aside from following the LORD, the God of their ancestors.

And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were found in Israel to serve, even to serve Jehovah their God. All his days they departed not from following Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

So Josiah removed everything that was detestable from all the lands belonging to the Israelites, and he required all who were present in Israel to serve the Lord their God. Throughout his reign they did not turn aside from following Yahweh, the God of their ancestors.

And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that[ pertained] to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in Israel to serve,[ even] to serve the LORD their God.[ And] all his days they departed not from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.

王命大祭司希勒家、與眾副祭司、及守殿門者、將為巴力、為亞舍拉、為天之萬象、所製之祭器、皆由主殿移之出、乃焚於耶路撒冷外、近汲淪溪之田間、攜其灰至伯特利、昔猶大列王立偽祭司、偽祭司或作偶像之祭司在猶大諸邑及耶路撒冷四周、焚香於邱壇、今王悉廢之、又廢焚香於巴力、與日月星宿、星宿或作十二躔度及天之一切眾星者、將亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶由主殿移之出、攜至耶路撒冷外、汲淪溪畔焚之、搗之成粉、揚於民之墓上、昔主殿旁有屋、為頑童所居、亦為婦女織亞舍拉幕之所、約西亞拆之、又自猶大諸邑、召諸祭司、污祭司焚香之邱壇、自迦巴至別是巴、又拆城門之諸邱壇、即邑宰約書亞門前者、在城門之左、不許邱壇之祭司、登耶路撒冷主之祭臺、惟許其在同族同族原文作兄弟中、食無酵餅、約西亞亦污便欣嫩谷之陀法、免人在彼以子女焚獻摩洛、昔猶大列王為日獻馬、畜於主殿門側、宦官拿單米勒附游廊游廊原文作葩珥瓦珥之屋旁、約西亞去之、又將諸日車燬之、猶大列王在亞哈斯樓頂上、所建之祭壇、及瑪拿西在主殿之兩院中所建之祭壇、王悉毀之、速以其塵土傾於汲淪溪畔、昔以色列王所羅門、在耶路撒冷前、邪僻山邪僻山或作油果山右、為西頓人可憎之神亞斯大錄、摩押人可憎之神基抹、亞捫族可憎之神米勒公、建諸邱壇、王悉污之、碎諸石像、斫諸亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶以骸骨充於其所、昔尼八子耶羅波安、使以色列人陷於罪者、在伯特利作祭壇、立邱壇、約西亞毀其祭壇與邱壇、又焚邱壇之室、搗之成粉、並焚亞舍拉、或作又毀伯特利之壇即昔尼八子耶羅波安使以色列人陷於罪者所作之邱壇又焚邱壇之室搗之成粉並焚亞舍拉約西亞回顧、見在山之墓、遣人取墓中之骨、焚於壇以污之、應昔神人奉主命所宣之言、約西亞曰、我見彼有碑、斯何碑也、邑人告之曰、昔有神人自猶大而來、預言王所行於伯特利壇之事、此其墓之碑也、約西亞曰、勿犯之、勿遷其骨、遂不遷其骨、亦不遷撒瑪利亞先知之骨、昔以色列列王、在撒瑪利亞諸邑、建邱壇之室、干犯主怒、約西亞除之、無異於伯特利所行、以邱壇之祭司、殺於壇上、亦焚人骨於壇上、遂返耶路撒冷、○

所羅門信從西頓人之女神亞斯他錄、又信從亞捫人可憎之物米勒公、所羅門行惡於主前、不效其父大衛盡心順從主、當時所羅門在耶路撒冷相對之山、為摩押可憎之物基抹、又為亞捫人可憎之物摩洛即米勒公築邱壇、

約書亞在世、以色列人崇事主、約書亞卒後、長老在世、曾知主為以色列人所行諸事者、以色列人仍崇事主、

以色列妹悖逆之猶大、行此事後、仍不誠心歸我、佯為歸我、此乃主所言、
