The musicians, the descendants of Asaph, were in the places prescribed by David, Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun the king’s seer. The gatekeepers at each gate did not need to leave their posts, because their fellow Levites made the preparations for them.

Those who played music were from the family line of Asaph. They were in the places that had been set up by David, Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun. Jeduthun had been the king’s prophet. The guards at each gate didn’t have to leave their places. That’s because their brother Levites got things ready for them.

The singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place according to the command of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer; and the gatekeepers were at each gate. They did not need to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.

守卫是沙龙、亚谷、达们、亚希幔和他们的弟兄；沙龙是领袖。从前这些人看守朝东的王门，如今是利未人营中的守卫。可拉的曾孙，以比雅撒的孙子，可利的儿子沙龙，和他父家的弟兄可拉人管理事务，看守会幕的门。他们的祖宗曾管理耶和华的军营，把守营的入口。

与他们一同的还有希幔、耶杜顿，和其余被选、名字录在册上的，为要称谢耶和华，因他的慈爱永远长存。希幔、耶杜顿同他们吹号、敲钹，声音响亮，并用其他乐器配合，歌颂神。耶杜顿的子孙作门口的守卫。

我要向神发声呼求；我向神发声，他必侧耳听我。

我的子民哪，要侧耳听我的训诲，竖起耳朵听我口中的言语。

有四千人作门口的守卫，又有四千人颂赞耶和华，用大卫造的乐器来颂赞。

王又派利未人在耶和华殿中敲钹，鼓瑟，弹琴，正如大卫和王的先见迦得，以及拿单先知所吩咐的，就是耶和华藉先知所吩咐的。利未人拿大卫的乐器，祭司拿号，一同站立。

神啊，外邦人侵犯你的产业，玷污你的圣殿，使耶路撒冷变成废墟，
