He said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to Yahweh,“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built. It will no longer be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve Yahweh your God, and his people Israel.

他又对那些教导以色列众人，分别为圣归耶和华的利未人说：“你们要把圣约柜安放在以色列王大卫的儿子所罗门建造的殿里；不必再用肩膀扛抬。现在你们要服事耶和华你们的神，服事他的子民以色列。

又對那歸耶和華為聖、教訓以色列人的利未人說：「你們將聖約櫃安放在以色列王大衛兒子所羅門建造的殿裏，不必再用肩扛擡。現在要事奉耶和華－你們的神，服事他的民以色列。

諭誨以色列眾之利未人、即區別為聖歸於耶和華者、曰、當以聖匱、置於以色列王、大衛子所羅門所建之室、不復肩負、宜奉事爾之上帝耶和華、服事其民以色列、

利未人潔己、奉事耶和華、以其道訓迪以色列人、約西亞告之曰、以色列王大闢子所羅門所建之殿、當置聖匱於中、毋庸肩負、役事爾之上帝耶和華、輔翼以色列民、

教誨以色列人之利未人、潔己潔己或作區別為聖以奉事主者、王諭之曰、以色列王大衛子所羅門所建之殿、爾曹將聖匱置於其中、不復以肩舁之、今當專奉事主爾之天主、服事其民以色列、

He said to the Levites, who instructed all Israel and who had been consecrated to the Lord:“ Put the sacred ark in the temple that Solomon son of David king of Israel built. It is not to be carried about on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel.

The Levites taught all the people of Israel. The Levites had been set apart to the Lord. Josiah said to them,“ Put the sacred ark of the covenant in the temple Solomon built. He was the son of David and king of Israel. The ark must not be carried around on your shoulders. Serve the Lord your God. Serve his people Israel.

And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel and who were holy to the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the house that Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. You need not carry it on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel.

He issued this order to the Levites, who were to teach all Israel and who had been set apart to serve the Lord:“ Put the holy Ark in the Temple that was built by Solomon son of David, the king of Israel. You no longer need to carry it back and forth on your shoulders. Now spend your time serving the Lord your God and his people Israel.

He said to the Levites who taught all Israel the holy things of the LORD,“ Put the holy ark in the temple built by Solomon son of David king of Israel. Since you do not have to carry it on your shoulders, now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel.

He also said to the Levites who taught all Israel and who were holy to the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built; it will not be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

Then he said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to the Lord:“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. It shall no longer be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

And he said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, that were holy unto Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; there shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders. Now serve Jehovah your God, and his people Israel;

He said to the Levites who taught all Israel the holy things of the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the temple built by Solomon son of David king of Israel. Since you do not have to carry it on your shoulders, now serve Yahweh your God and His people Israel.

And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build;[ it shall] not[ be] a burden upon[ your] shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,

He told the Levites, who instructed all Israel about things consecrated to the LORD,“ Place the holy ark in the temple which King Solomon son of David of Israel built. Don’t carry it on your shoulders. Now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel!

Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings, and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.

and with them the Levites, even Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, the Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, the priests.They taught in Judah, having the book of Yahweh’s law with them. They went about throughout all the cities of Judah and taught among the people.

They shall teach Jacob your ordinances, and Israel your law. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.

Also the Levites will no longer need to carry the tabernacle and all its vessels for its service.”

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of Yahweh of Armies.

Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of Yahweh’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? Do you seek the priesthood also?

The priests brought in the ark of Yahweh’s covenant to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,

“ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.“ The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,“ Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,“ Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old: all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.“ This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the gate of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. They shall serve in there.At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.“ As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old— everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service. You shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden to them by name.This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting.Those who were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.Those who were counted of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old— everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,even those who were counted of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh.Those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old— everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,even those who were counted of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.All those who were counted of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ houses,from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.According to the commandment of Yahweh they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. Thus they were counted by him, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

When they brought out the money that was brought into Yahweh’s house, Hilkiah the priest found the book of Yahweh’s law given by Moses.

Solomon brought up Pharaoh’s daughter out of David’s city to the house that he had built for her; for he said,“ My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places where Yahweh’s ark has come are holy.”

I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law; and the people stayed in their place.They read in the book, in the law of God, distinctly; and they gave the sense, so that they understood the reading.
