Below the rim, figures of bulls encircled it— ten to a cubit. The bulls were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.

在銅海的邊緣下圍繞著兩圈野瓜圖案，每米有二十個野瓜，是跟銅海一起鑄造的。有十二頭銅牛馱著銅海，三頭向北，三頭向西，三頭向南，三頭向東。銅海安在牛上，牛尾都向內。銅海厚八釐米，邊如杯邊，又如百合花，容量是四萬四千升。

每一個基路伯天使都有四張臉：第一張是基路伯天使的臉，第二張是人的臉，第三張是獅子的臉，第四張是鷹的臉。

第一個活物像獅子，第二個像牛犢，第三個有人的面孔，第四個像飛鷹。

四個活物的面孔是這樣的：正面是人的臉，右面是獅子的臉，左面是牛的臉，後面是鷹的臉。
