He then made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.

Solomon made ten smaller bowls for washing. He placed five of them on the south side of the huge bowl. He placed the other five on the north side. The things used for the burnt offerings were rinsed in the smaller bowls. But the priests used the huge bowl for washing.

“你要做一個銅盆和一個銅座，用來洗濯。你要把盆放在會幕和祭壇之間，並且要把水放在盆中。亞倫和他的兒子要在盆裡洗手洗腳。他們進會幕的時候，或是走近祭壇敬拜，給耶和華焚燒火祭的時候，都要用水洗濯，免得死亡。他們要洗手洗腳，免得死亡。這要作他們永遠的定例，就是作亞倫和他的後裔世世代代永遠的定例。”

又鑄造了一個銅海，直徑有四公尺半，是圓形的，高兩公尺兩公寸，圓周有十三公尺兩公寸。

又從那信實的見證人、死人中首先復生的、地上眾君王的統治者耶穌基督臨到你們。他愛我們，用自己的血把我們從我們的罪中釋放出來，又使我們成為國度，作他父神的祭司。願榮耀權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

那人又要用水洗淨內臟和腿；祭司就把這一切全獻在祭壇上焚燒，作為燔祭，就是獻給耶和華馨香的火祭。

何況基督的血呢？他藉著永遠的靈，把自己無瑕無疵的獻給神，他的血不是更能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們可以事奉永活的神嗎？

那人又要用水洗淨內臟和腿，祭司就把這一切全獻在祭壇上焚燒，作為燔祭，就是獻給耶和華馨香的火祭。

你們有些人從前也是這樣的，但現在藉著我們主耶穌基督的名，靠著我們神的靈，都已經洗淨了，聖潔了，稱義了。

求你徹底洗淨我的罪孽，潔除我的罪。

照著天上樣式作的既然必須這樣去潔淨，天上物體的本身，就應該用更美的祭品去潔淨了。

我對他說：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他告訴我：“這些人是從大患難中出來的。他們用羊羔的血，把自己的衣袍洗潔白了。

你要把亞倫和他兒子們帶到會幕門口，用水給他們洗身。
