要用角声赞美他，鼓瑟弹琴赞美他！击鼓跳舞赞美他！用丝弦的乐器和箫的声音赞美他！用大响的钹赞美他！用高声的钹赞美他！

希幔的弟兄亚萨在希幔的右边供职；亚萨是比利家的儿子，比利家是示米亚的儿子，

歌唱的行在前，作乐的随在后，都在击鼓的童女中间：

嫩的儿子约书亚召了祭司来，对他们说：“你们抬起约柜来，要有七个祭司拿七个羊角在耶和华的约柜前。”他又对百姓说：“你们向前去围绕那城，带兵器的要在耶和华的约柜前过去。”按照约书亚对百姓所说的，七个祭司拿了七个羊角在耶和华面前过去，他们吹着角，耶和华的约柜在他们后面跟着。带兵器的走在吹角的祭司前面，后队跟着约柜走，号角继续在吹。约书亚吩咐百姓说：“你们不可呼喊，不可让人听见你们的声音，连一句话也不可出你们的口，直到我对你们说‘呼喊’的那日，你们才呼喊。”这样，约书亚使耶和华的约柜围绕那城，把城绕了一次。然后，众人回到营里，就在营里住宿。约书亚清早起来，祭司又抬起耶和华的约柜。七个祭司拿七个羊角，走在耶和华的约柜前，他们吹着角；带兵器的走在他们前面，后队跟着耶和华的约柜走，号角继续在吹。第二日，他们再把城围绕一次，就回营里去。六日都是这样做。第七日清早黎明时，他们起来，以同样的方式围绕城七次；惟独这一日他们围绕城七次。到了第七次，祭司吹角的时候，约书亚对百姓说：“呼喊吧，因为耶和华已经把城交给你们了！这城和其中所有的都要永献给耶和华作当毁灭的，只有妓女喇合与她家中所有的可以存活，因为她隐藏了我们所派的使者。但你们务必谨慎，不可取那当灭的物，免得你们受诅咒，取了那当灭的物，使以色列全营成为诅咒而遭受灾祸。只有金子、银子和铜铁的器皿都要归耶和华为圣，放入耶和华的库房中。”于是百姓呼喊，祭司吹角。百姓一听见角声就大声呼喊，城墙随着倒塌。百姓上去进城，各人往前直上，把城夺取。

与他们一同的还有希幔、耶杜顿，和其余被选、名字录在册上的，为要称谢耶和华，因他的慈爱永远长存。希幔、耶杜顿同他们吹号、敲钹，声音响亮，并用其他乐器配合，歌颂上帝。耶杜顿的子孙作门口的守卫。

大卫和所有抬约柜的利未人，以及圣咏团的领袖基拿尼雅和歌唱的人，都穿着细麻布外袍；大卫另外穿着细麻布以弗得。

那掌管七种灾难的七位天使从圣所出来，穿着洁白明亮的细麻衣，胸间束着金带。

大卫吩咐利未人的领袖派他们歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和钹的乐器奏乐，欢欢喜喜地大声歌颂。于是利未人派约珥的儿子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的儿子亚萨，以及他们同族弟兄米拉利子孙里古沙雅的儿子以探。其次还有跟随他们的弟兄撒迦利雅、便‧雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅，以及门口的守卫俄别‧以东和耶利。歌唱的希幔、亚萨和以探，敲铜钹，声音响亮；撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、玛西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，调用女音；玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅、俄别‧以东、耶利、亚撒西雅用琴指挥，调用第八。基拿尼雅是利未人圣咏团的领袖，又教导人唱歌，因为他精通此事。

我的心默默无声，专等候上帝，我的救恩从他而来。

大卫和事奉团队的众领袖分派亚萨、希幔，以及耶杜顿的子孙唱歌，以弹琴、鼓瑟、敲钹伴奏。他们供职的人数如下：亚萨的儿子撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅、亚萨利拉，亚萨的儿子都在亚萨的指导下，遵王的指示唱歌。属耶杜顿，耶杜顿的儿子基大利、西利、耶筛亚、示每、哈沙比雅、玛他提雅共六人，都在他们父亲耶杜顿的指导下唱歌，以弹琴伴奏，称谢，颂赞耶和华。属希幔，希幔的儿子是布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利末、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提‧以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提、玛哈秀。这些都是希幔的儿子；希幔奉上帝之命作王的先见，吹角颂赞。上帝赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿，他们都在父亲的指导下，在耶和华的殿唱歌，以敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟伴奏，遵从王的指示，在上帝的殿里事奉。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔，他们和他们的弟兄学习颂赞耶和华，精通者的数目共有二百八十八人。

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你要用银子做两枝号筒，把它们锤出来，给你用来召集会众，拔营起行。吹号的时候，全会众要到你那里，聚集在会幕的门口。若只吹一枝，众领袖，就是以色列部队的官长，要到你那里聚集。你们大声吹号的时候，东边安营的要起行。

工匠立耶和华殿根基的时候，祭司穿礼服吹号，利未人亚萨的子孙敲钹，都照以色列王大卫亲手所定的，站着赞美耶和华。他们彼此唱和，赞美称谢耶和华：“他本为善，他向以色列永施慈爱。”他们赞美耶和华的时候，众百姓大声呼喊，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立定。

每日早晚、安息日、初一，以及节期，按数照例，经常献燔祭给耶和华的时候，他们站立称谢赞美耶和华。

用十弦的乐器和瑟，用琴优雅的声音；

大能者上帝—耶和华已经发言呼召天下，从日出之地到日落之处。

愿他们跳舞赞美他的名，击鼓弹琴歌颂他！

她蒙恩得穿明亮洁白的细麻衣：这细麻衣就是圣徒们的义行。”

祭司各供其职侍立，利未人拿着耶和华的乐器，就是大卫王所造、为要颂赞耶和华的乐器，因他的慈爱永远长存；他们为大卫的赞美诗奏乐；祭司在众人面前吹号，以色列众人都站立。

大卫和以色列众人在上帝面前随着诗歌、琴、瑟、鼓、钹、号，极力跳舞。

大卫派几个利未人在耶和华的约柜前事奉，颂扬，称谢，赞美耶和华—以色列的上帝：为首的是亚萨，其次是撒迦利雅、耶利、示米拉末、耶歇、玛他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄别‧以东、耶利；他们鼓瑟弹琴，亚萨敲钹，声音响亮；比拿雅和雅哈悉二位祭司常在上帝的约柜前吹号。

耶和华—拯救我的上帝啊，我昼夜在你面前呼求；
