所羅門集以色列諸長老、諸支派牧伯、及以色列諸族長、皆至耶路撒冷、欲自大衛之城、即郇城、舁主之約匱而上、

Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David.

Then Solomon sent for the elders of Israel. He told them to come to Jerusalem. They included all the leaders of the tribes. They also included the chiefs of the families of Israel. Solomon wanted them to bring up the ark of the Lord’ s covenant from Zion. Zion was the City of David.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of tribes— the leaders of the ancestral families of Israel. They were to bring the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, which is Zion.

Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the City of David, which is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which[ is] Zion.

Then Solomon convened Israel’s elders– all the leaders of the Israelite tribes and families– in Jerusalem, so they could witness the transferal of the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the City of David( that is, Zion).

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

有人告诉大卫王说：“耶和华因约柜的缘故赐福给俄别‧以东的家和一切属他的。”大卫就去，欢欢喜喜地将上帝的约柜从俄别‧以东家中接上来，到大卫城里。

只是上帝的约柜，大卫已经从基列‧耶琳接到他所预备的地方，因他曾在耶路撒冷为约柜支搭了帐幕，

这示罗密和他的兄弟管理一切库房的圣物，就是大卫王和众族长、千夫长、百夫长，以及军官所分别为圣之物。

以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和华的约柜在前面行了三天的路程，为他们寻找安歇的地方。

众人将上帝的约柜请进去，安放在大卫为它搭的帐幕中，就在上帝面前献燔祭和平安祭。

于是，大卫和以色列的长老，以及千夫长都去，欢欢喜喜地将耶和华的约柜从俄别‧以东家中接上来。

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，愿意当作自己的居所：“这是我永远安歇之所；我要住在这地方，因为我愿意在这里。我要赐福使粮食丰足，使其中的贫穷人饱享食物。我要使祭司披上救恩，圣民就要大声欢呼！在那里我要使大卫的角茁壮，为我的受膏者预备明灯。

所有歌唱的利未人，亚萨、希幔、耶杜顿，和他们的众儿子、众弟兄都穿细麻布衣服，站在祭坛的东边敲钹，鼓瑟，弹琴，和他们一起的还有一百二十个吹号的祭司。

他们在大卫王和撒督，以及亚希米勒与祭司和利未人的族长面前也抽签，正如他们弟兄亚伦的子孙一样。各族的族长与最年轻的兄弟都一样。

然而大卫攻取了锡安的堡垒，就是大卫的城。

约柜停住的时候，他说：“以色列千万人的耶和华啊，求你回来！”

所罗门王做完了耶和华殿一切的工，就把他父亲大卫分别为圣的金银和一切器皿都带来，放在上帝殿的库房里。

大卫召集以色列所有的领袖，各支派的领袖、轮班服事王的官长、千夫长、百夫长、掌管王和王子一切产业牲畜的、宫廷官员、勇士，和所有大能的勇士，都到耶路撒冷来。

“我已经在锡安—我的圣山膏立了我的君王。”

耶和华爱锡安的门，胜于爱雅各一切的住处。

对他们说：“你们是利未人的族长，你们和你们的弟兄应当使自己分别为圣，好将耶和华—以色列上帝的约柜接到我所预备的地方。

那时，所罗门召集以色列的长老、各支派的领袖和以色列人的族长到耶路撒冷，所罗门王那里，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安，接上来。以他念月，就是七月，在节期时，所有的以色列人都聚集到所罗门王那里。以色列众长老一来到，祭司就抬起约柜。祭司和利未人将耶和华的约柜请上来，又把会幕和会幕一切的圣器皿都带上来。所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众一同在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得不可胜数，无法计算。祭司将耶和华的约柜请进内殿，就是至圣所，安置在两个基路伯的翅膀底下约柜的地方。基路伯张开翅膀在约柜上面的地方，从上面遮住约柜和抬柜的杠。这杠很长，从内殿前的圣所可以看见杠头，从外面却看不见。这杠直到今日还在那里。约柜里没有别的，只有两块石版，就是以色列人出埃及地，耶和华与他们立约的时候，摩西在何烈山放在那里的。祭司从圣所出来的时候，有云充满耶和华的殿，祭司因云彩的缘故不能站立供职，因为耶和华的荣光充满了耶和华的殿。

作书记的利未人拿坦业的儿子示玛雅在王和领袖，与撒督祭司、亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒，以及祭司和利未人的族长面前记录他们的名字；在以利亚撒的子孙中取一族，在以他玛的子孙中也取一族。
