And all the Israelites came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.

所羅門和從哈馬口直至埃及小河而來的全體以色列人聚成一大群會眾，一起守節期七天。第八天舉行莊嚴的聚會，又舉行七天獻壇禮。之後，他們又歡慶七天。七月二十三日，所羅門王讓民眾各回本鄉。他們看見耶和華向大衛、所羅門和祂的以色列子民所施的恩惠，就滿心歡喜地回家去了。

「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。「從七月十五日開始，你們要一連七天向耶和華守住棚節。第一天，你們要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。這七天你們要獻火祭給耶和華。第八天要舉行聖會，獻火祭給耶和華。這是莊嚴的聚會，你們不可做日常工作。
