Not one of all the faithful promises he made through his servant Moses is left unfulfilled!May the LORD our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors. May he not abandon us or leave us.May he make us submissive, so we can follow all his instructions and obey the commandments, rules, and regulations he commanded our ancestors.May the LORD our God be constantly aware of these requests of mine I have presented to him, so that he might vindicate his servant and his people Israel as the need arises.Then all the nations of the earth will recognize that the LORD is the only genuine God.May you demonstrate wholehearted devotion to the LORD our God by following his rules and obeying his commandments, as you are presently doing.”

Then you will invoke the name of your god, and I will invoke the name of the LORD. The god who responds with fire will demonstrate that he is the true God.” All the people responded,“ This will be a fair test.”

Then a wind lifted me up and brought me to the inner court; I watched the glory of the LORD filling the temple.

The trumpeters and musicians played together, praising and giving thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they loudly praised the LORD, singing:“ Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!” Then a cloud filled the LORD’s temple.The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the LORD’s splendor filled God’s temple.

Before they even call out, I will respond; while they are still speaking, I will hear.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.

There I will meet with the Israelites, and it will be set apart as holy by my glory.

( The cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court.)Then the glory of the LORD arose from the cherub and moved to the threshold of the temple. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and they used the remaining two to fly.They called out to one another,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord who commands armies! His majestic splendor fills the entire earth!”The sound of their voices shook the door frames, and the temple was filled with smoke.
