“ If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

我若使天闭塞不下雨，或使蝗虫吃这地的出产，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，

若我使天不下雨，使蝗虫吞吃地上的出产，或叫瘟疫在我民中流行，

如果我使天闭塞不下雨，或吩咐蝗虫吞吃这地的土产，或差遣瘟疫到我的子民中间来；

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

若我使天不下雨，使蝗蟲吞吃地上的出產，或叫瘟疫在我民中流行，

如果我使天閉塞不下雨，或吩咐蝗蟲吞吃這地的土產，或差遣瘟疫到我的子民中間來；

我若將天抑制住、使它沒有雨水，我若吩咐蚱蜢來喫這地的物產，或是打發瘟疫到我人民中間；

若我使天閉塞不雨、或使蝻蝗食其土產、或使疫癘行於我民、

如我使天閉塞、雨澤不降、或使蝗蟲食其土產、或使瘟疫、流於民間、

如我使天閉塞而不降雨、或使蝗蝻食土產、或使疫癘流行我民中、

“ When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,

“ Suppose I close up the sky and there isn’t any rain. Suppose I command locusts to eat up the crops. And I send a plague among my people.

When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people,

At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you.

If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on my people,

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people,

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people,

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

When I close up the sky so that it doesn’t rain, or command locusts to devour the land’s vegetation, or send a plague among my people,

“ When the sky is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them;then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.“ If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness there is;

and Yahweh’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky so that there is no rain, and the land doesn’t yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh gives you.

These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.

Or else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country,and they shall cover the surface of the earth, so that one won’t be able to see the earth. They shall eat the residue of that which has escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field.Your houses shall be filled, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians, as neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’” He turned, and went out from Pharaoh.

“ To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write:“ He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things:

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said to him,“ Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or will you flee three months before your foes while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days’ pestilence in your land? Now answer, and consider what answer I shall return to him who sent me.”David said to Gad,“ I am in distress. Let us fall now into Yahweh’s hand; for his mercies are great. Let me not fall into man’s hand.”So Yahweh sent a pestilence on Israel from the morning even to the appointed time; and seventy thousand men died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba.

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.

and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number,

I will strike them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

Moses said to Aaron,“ Take your censer, put fire from the altar in it, lay incense on it, carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from Yahweh! The plague has begun.”Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the middle of the assembly. The plague had already begun among the people. He put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.

If he passes by, or confines, or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?

What the swarming locust has left, the great locust has eaten. What the great locust has left, the grasshopper has eaten. What the grasshopper has left, the caterpillar has eaten.Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the sweet wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.For a nation has come up on my land, strong, and without number. His teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the fangs of a lioness.He has laid my vine waste, and stripped my fig tree. He has stripped its bark, and thrown it away. Its branches are made white.

Behold, he breaks down, and it can’t be built again. He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.

“ Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness.”For the Lord Yahweh says:“ How much more when I send my four severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, the famine, the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!

But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.
