我先前不信人們的傳說；以至我來、親眼看見，才看出你智慧之大、人所告訴我的還不到一半：你實在超過我所聽見的傳聞。

我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了，才知道你的大智慧；人所告诉我的，还不到一半；你的实迹越过我所听见的名声。

我初不信、及我涖臨、目擊斯事、乃知所聞猶不及所見之半也、爾之智慧全備、較我所聞、尤覺其多。

我初不信其言、及我來此、目睹斯事、乃知爾之大智慧、人所告我者猶未及其半、爾過於我所聞之風聲、

But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard.

But I didn’t believe what people were saying. So I came to see for myself. And now I believe it! You are twice as wise as people say you are. The report I heard doesn’t even begin to tell the whole story about you.

but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard.

I didn’t believe what was said until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. In fact, I had not heard the half of your great wisdom! It is far beyond what I was told.

哦，他們的俊美何等的光采！他們的美麗何其耀目啊！五穀使壯丁精力旺盛，新酒使處女容光煥發。

她便對王說：『我在我本地所聽見關於你的事和你的智慧的傳說都是真的。

萬族之民中、地上列王中、凡聽到所羅門智慧之事的、都有人來聽所羅門的智慧話。

你這女子中極美麗的啊，你的愛人比別人的愛人有甚麼長處，使得你這樣誓囑我們哪？我的愛人皎潔而赤紅，頭角崢嶸、超乎萬人之上。他的頭像鍊淨的金；他的頭髮如剛生的棕樹枝，像烏鴉那麼黑。他的眼如一對鴿子在水溝旁，洗在奶子裏，安在池塘邊。他的兩腮如香花苗床，如香草臺；他的嘴脣像百合花，滴下沒藥汁。他的兩手像金管鑲嵌着黃璧璽；他的身體如象牙柱，外面包着藍寶石。他的兩腿像白玉石柱安在鍊淨的金座上；他的容貌像利巴嫩，挺秀如香柏樹。他的口吻極其香甜；他全然可愛。耶路撒冷的女子啊，這就是我的愛人；這就是我的伴侶。

你的慈惠、你為敬畏你的人所珍藏、為避難於你裏面的人在人類面前所施行的、何其豐富啊！

他比萬人都有智慧；比以斯拉人以探、和瑪曷的三個兒子希幔、甲各、達大、都有智慧；他的名聲在四圍列國中很顯揚。

其他的門徒就對多馬說：『我們已經看見了主了！』多馬卻對他們說：『除非我看見他手中的釘痕，又用我的指頭探入那釘痕，用我的手探入他的肋旁，我總不信的。』過了八天、耶穌的門徒又在裏面，多馬也同他們在一起。門都關了，耶穌來，站在當中說：『願你們平安！』然後對多馬說：『拿你的指頭到這裏來、看看我的手；拿你的手探入我的肋旁；別無信心了！務要有信心！』多馬回答耶穌說：『我的主，我的上帝！』耶穌對他說：『你因看見了我才信！那些沒有看見而信的、有福啊！』

我先前不信那些傳說；及至我來、親眼看見，才看出人所告訴我的還不到一半：你實在有智慧和福分超過我所聽見的傳聞哪。

不，這乃是像經上所記：『上帝給愛他的人所豫備的、是眼睛沒有看見過、耳朵沒有聽見過、人心沒有思想過的。』

親愛的，我們現今是上帝的兒女；將來怎樣，還未顯明；我們只知道他無論甚麼時候顯現，我們總會像他，因為我們必見他，照他的真樣子。
