因為基督所受的苦怎樣溢流到我們身上來，我們所得的安慰也怎樣藉着基督而溢流出去。

我们既多受基督的苦楚，就靠基督多得安慰。

正如我们跟基督同受许多苦楚，我们也靠基督得许多安慰。

正如我们跟基督同受许多苦楚，我们也靠基督得许多安慰。

正如我们多受基督所受的苦楚，也靠基督多得安慰。

我们既然多受基督所受的痛苦，就靠着基督多得安慰。

因为基督的苦难怎样充充满满临到我们，藉着基督，我们的安慰也照样充充满满。

我為基督多受苦難、亦賴基督多得安慰、

我既多受基督之苦難、亦賴基督多得安慰、

蓋吾儕固為基督飽嘗苦難、亦因基督而飽領神慰。

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

We share very much in the sufferings of Christ. So we also share very much in his comfort.

For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.

For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

如今我在為你們受的這些苦之中、倒覺得喜樂，並且為基督的身體、就是教會、在我肉身上補替他受的苦難所未受盡的。

使我認識基督、和他復活的大能力，以及和他一同受苦的團契，而有和他同死的形質，

我們為基督的緣故愚拙，你們在基督裏倒精明！我們軟弱，你們倒強壯！你們受尊榮，我們倒被羞辱！直到現在這一點鐘，我們還是又饑又渴、又赤身裸體、又挨拳打、飄泊無定，勞勞苦苦，親手作工；被辱罵，我們就祝福；受逼迫，我們就忍受；被讒毁，我們就和解；我們還被看為世界的垃圾、萬物的遺穢、直到現在！

所以你們在基督裏若有任何鼓勵、或愛心的激發，靈裏若有任何團契、或慈悲心腸和憐憫，

身體上時常帶着耶穌的死，好叫耶穌的活也在我們這身體上顯明出來。因為我們這些人雖然活着，卻永遠為了耶穌的緣故被送交於死，好叫耶穌的活也在我們這能死的肉身上顯明出來。

按着我熱切的期待和盼望、在任何事上我都不至於羞愧，倒能以十二分放膽的心、或藉着活、或藉着死、總讓基督在我身體上、現今仍和素常一樣、都被尊為大。

他就仆倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：『掃羅，掃羅，你為甚麼逼迫我？』

當時在耶路撒冷有一個人名叫西面；這人又正義又虔誠，素來期望着以色列之受安慰，且有聖靈在身。

願我們的主耶穌基督、他和我們的父上帝、就是那愛了我們、用恩惠將永遠的鼓勵和美好的盼望賜給我們的、鼓勵你們的心，並在一切美善的行為美善的話語上使你們堅固。

他們是基督的僕役麼？瘋狂地說吧，我更是。論勞苦、更繁多；論鞭打、屢過次數；論坐監、更多次；論冒死、屢次有。我被猶太人鞭打了五次，每次四十下減一下；被棍子打了三次，被人用石頭打了一次；遭船壞三次；一晝一夜在深海裏掙扎着；論旅行、屢次有：有江河的危險，強盜的危險，由同族的危險，由外國人的危險，在城市的危險，在曠野的危險，在海中的危險，在假弟兄中的危險；辛苦勞碌；論失眠、屢次有；論饑渴、論絕糧、屢次有；論寒冷和赤身——。除了這些外表的事，還有天天壓着我的職務、那為眾教會掛慮的事呢。誰軟弱，我不軟弱呢？誰絆跌，我不心中燃燒呢？我若不得不誇口，就要誇我軟弱的事。
