We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

I am not going too far in my bragging. I would be going too far if I hadn’t come to where you live. But I did get there with the good news about Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ.

We are not reaching beyond these boundaries when we claim authority over you, as if we had never visited you. For we were the first to travel all the way to Corinth with the Good News of Christ.

雖然有千萬老師將基督的事教導你們，但父親並不多，因為我藉著福音在基督耶穌裡成為你們的父親。

然而，上帝藉著聖靈將這一切啟示給我們，因為聖靈洞悉萬事，連上帝深奧的事都瞭若指掌。

按照我所傳的福音，到了審判之日，上帝要藉著耶穌基督審判人一切隱祕的事。

我不是自由的嗎？我不是使徒嗎？我不是見過我們的主耶穌嗎？你們不是我在主裡工作的成果嗎？即使對別人來說我不是使徒，對你們來說我也是使徒，因為你們就是我在主裡作使徒的印證。

這正道來自當受稱頌的上帝託付我傳揚的榮耀福音。

我前往特羅亞傳揚基督的福音時，主為我打開了傳福音的大門。

感謝上帝！祂能使你們剛強，正如我所傳講的福音和耶穌基督的教導。這福音是自古隱藏、從未顯明的奧祕，

那些不信的人是被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不見基督榮耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。

我不以福音為恥，因為這福音是上帝的大能，要拯救一切相信的人，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。

有關上帝的兒子耶穌基督的福音是這樣開始的。

不過哪怕是犧牲性命，我也在所不辭，，只盼望我能跑完當跑的路程，完成主耶穌交託給我的使命，為上帝充滿恩典的福音做見證。

我很驚訝，你們竟然那麼快就背棄了藉著基督的恩典呼召你們的上帝，去追隨別的福音！其實那並不是福音，只是某些人擾亂你們的信仰，想篡改基督的福音。即便是我們或天使，若另傳福音給你們，與我們以前傳給你們的福音相悖，也該受咒詛。

我照著上帝賜給我的恩典，好像一位有智慧的建築師打穩了根基，然後讓其他的工人在上面建造。但每個人建造的時候要小心，

你們能有這樣的信心和愛心是因為那給你們存在天上的盼望，就是你們從前從福音真道中聽到的盼望。

難道我們又是在稱讚自己嗎？難道我們像別人一樣，需要拿著推薦信去見你們，或拿著你們的推薦信去見別人嗎？你們自己就是我們的推薦信，寫在了我們心坎上，眾所周知，人人可讀。顯然，你們是從基督而來的一封信，是我們工作的成果。這信不是用筆墨寫成的，乃是藉著永活上帝的靈寫成的；不是寫在石版上的，而是刻在心版上的。

別的事我不敢提，只有一件是我津津樂道的，就是基督藉著我的言語行為，用神蹟奇事和聖靈的大能叫外族人順服，使我把基督的福音從耶路撒冷一路傳到了以利哩古。

亞波羅算什麼？保羅算什麼？我們不過是上帝的僕人，各人照著主所賜的才幹引導你們信靠上帝。我栽種，亞波羅灌溉，但使之生長的是上帝。
