主賜給我們權柄，是要造就你們，並不是要拆毀你們；我就是為這權柄稍微誇口也不覺得慚愧。

主賜權柄、是要建立你們，不是要攻倒你們。我就使為我們這權柄稍微逾分地誇口，也不覺得慚愧，

主所賜給我們的權柄是為了造就你們，不是為了拆毀你們。其實，就算我為這權柄有些過度的誇耀，我也不至於蒙羞。

主賜我權、乃建爾、非覆爾、我雖過誇、亦無所愧焉、

主賜我權、非以敗人、乃以輔德、我雖愈誇、吾亦無愧、

主賜我之權、以建爾、非以敗爾、我即因此多誇、亦無愧也、

吾雖稍誇吾儕之權力、亦不致有愧；惟此權力、係主所授以輔爾成立、非以致爾傾毀也。

So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.

Do I brag too much about the authority the Lord gave me? If I do, it’s because I want to build you up, not tear you down. And I’m not ashamed of that kind of bragging.

For even if I boast a little too much of our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed.

I may seem to be boasting too much about the authority given to us by the Lord. But our authority builds you up; it doesn’t tear you down. So I will not be ashamed of using my authority.

For if I boast a little too much about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be put to shame.

For if I boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame,

For even if I should boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Lord gave us for edification and not for your destruction, I shall not be ashamed—

For though I should glory somewhat abundantly concerning our authority( which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down), I shall not be put to shame:

For if I boast some more about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I am not ashamed.

For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

For if I boast somewhat more about our authority that the Lord gave us for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of doing so.

For even if I boast somewhat abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for casting you down, I will not be ashamed,

所以，我不在你們那裏的時候，把這些話寫給你們，好使我見你們的時候不用照主所給我的權柄嚴厲地待你們；這權柄原是為造就人，而不是為摧毀人。

我使徒保羅和所有跟我一起的弟兄，寫信給加拉太的眾教會。我作使徒不是由於人，也不是藉着人，而是藉着耶穌基督與使他從死人中復活的父神。

為這緣故，我也受這些苦難。然而，我不以為恥，因為我知道我所信的是誰，也深信他能保全他所交託我的，直到那日。

我們並不是要控制你們的信心，而是要作你們的同工，讓你們得快樂，因為你們在信仰上已經站得穩了。

對那些犯了罪的人和其餘所有的人，正如我第二次見你們的時候曾說過，現在不在你們那裏再次說：「我若再來，必不寬容。」因為你們想求證基督是否藉着我說話。基督對你們並不是軟弱的，而是在你們裏面大有能力的。

就是我願意誇口也不算狂，因為我會說實話；只是我絕口不談，恐怕有人把我看得太高了，過於他在我身上所看見所聽見的；

我若對提多誇獎過你們甚麼，也不覺得慚愧，因為我對提多誇獎你們的話是真的，正如我對你們所說的話也向來都是真的。

我們不能做任何對抗真理的事，只能維護真理。
