第宅貨財、為祖父所遺、賢妻為耶和華所賜、

拉結利亞曰、我於父家、豈尚有分有業乎、父既鬻我、又侵食我值、非以我為外人乎、

耶和華錫嘏吾主甚厚、使之昌大、賜以金銀僕婢、牛羊駝驢、主母撒拉、老而生子、我主所有、悉予斯男、

如我凡事悅眾、不求益己、乃求益眾、使之得救也、

勿求益己、惟求益人、

善人遺業於子孫、罪人積財歸義者、

人子歟、當以預言責以色列之牧者曰、主耶和華云、以色列之牧者、自牧其身、其人禍哉、牧者豈不宜牧其羣羊乎、

我據此素欲就爾、俾復獲益、

余書此、非以愧爾、乃警爾、如我愛子、爾宗基督、雖有萬師、而無多父、蓋我在基督耶穌中、以福音生爾、

我從無諂諛、乃爾所知、亦未掩飾貪婪、上帝為之證、雖為基督使徒、可令人崇敬、然未求榮於爾、亦未求榮於人、

我未始貪人之金銀衣服、

宜牧爾中上帝羣而督之、非由強、乃由願、非趨利、乃樂為、勿主持所託、乃模範於眾、於牧長顯著時、必得不敝之榮冕、

爾亦知我儕如何視爾各人、猶父之於子、勸勉、安慰、指證、

夫我所望所樂所誇之冕何耶、非爾於我主耶穌臨時、而在其前乎、蓋爾乃我之榮、我之樂也、

我經行馬其頓時、則將就爾、蓋我欲經行馬其頓也、

如主許之、我必速就爾、非欲知自矜者之言、乃其能耳、

我儕既如是戀慕爾、願予爾者、不第上帝之福音、亦己之生命、因爾為我所深愛也、

我將三就爾、證以二三人之口、而所言悉定、我昔先言之、今雖暌違、仍先言之、如二次覿面時然、即告彼素干罪者、及其餘人、迨我復來、必不恕之、

我非求贈、乃求結實繁多、以益於爾、

是以我所愛所慕之兄弟、為我之樂、為我之冕、我所愛者乎、宜堅立於主、○

若有飢者、食於家可也、免爾以會集干鞫、其餘我至時整飭之、

義者結果、有若生命之樹、智者乃有得人之能、
