爾於異邦人中、當舉動皆善、彼素謗爾為惡、既見爾之善行、則在眷顧之時、歸榮於天主、○

惟端莊以行如在晝日、勿饕餮沈湎、勿色欲邪蕩、勿爭鬥娼嫉、

我儕務善、不但在主前、在人前亦若是、

我弱而爾強、我則喜、我所願者、爾之全備也、

我非求爾取彼離世、惟求保其不陷於惡、

我思天主、使我儕使徒、身居微末、如擬死之囚、如場上戲劇、為世界與天使及眾人所觀、我儕因基督而愚、爾曹信基督而智、我儕弱、爾曹強、爾曹尊、我儕卑、至於今、我儕饑渴、裸身、受撻、靡有定處、且勞苦、親手操作、被詬詈則祝、被窘逐則忍、被謗則勸、人視我若世之污穢、物之塵垢、以至於今、○

爾中不免有各異議為黨之事、使爾中練達者顯著、

勿以惡報惡、專心行善於眾人前、
