We rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. We also pray that you become fully mature.

We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored.

I’m glad when I am weak but you are strong. I pray that there will be no more problems among you.

For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.

We are glad to seem weak if it helps show that you are actually strong. We pray that you will become mature.

For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak, but you are strong; this we also pray for, that you become mature.

For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.

For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting.

We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!

as we pray very earnestly night and day to see you face to face and to complete what is lacking in your faith?

The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.

I will boast about this person, but not about myself, except of my weaknesses.For if I want to boast, I wouldn’t be a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I will spare you, so that no one can credit me with something beyond what he sees in me or hears from me,especially because of the extraordinary revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so that I would not exalt myself.Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it would leave me.But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and in difficulties, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

But we pray to God that you do nothing wrong— not that we may appear to pass the test, but that you may do what is right, even though we may appear to fail.For we can’t do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

If boasting is necessary, I will boast about my weaknesses.

So then, dear friends, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ,until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.

to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written in heaven, to a Judge, who is God of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect,

equip you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. He is always wrestling for you in his prayers, so that you can stand mature and fully assured in everything God wills.

Therefore, let us leave the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God,

We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

Not that I have already reached the goal or am already perfect, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus.Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.

so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
