So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

So we don’t spend all our time looking at what we can see. Instead, we look at what we can’t see. That’s because what can be seen lasts only a short time. But what can’t be seen will last forever.

因為我們行事為人是憑着信心，不是憑着眼見。

我們得救是在於盼望；可是看得見的盼望就不是盼望。誰還去盼望他所看得見的呢？但我們若盼望那看不見的，我們就耐心等候。

信就是對所盼望之事有把握，對未見之事有確據。

這些人都是存着信心死的，並沒有得着所應許的，卻從遠處觀望，且歡喜迎接。他們承認自己在地上是客旅，是寄居的。

因為凡世界上的東西，好比肉體的情慾、眼目的情慾和今生的驕傲，都不是從父來的，而是從世界來的。這世界和世上的情慾都要消逝，惟獨那遵行神旨意的人永遠常存。

基督所應許我們的就是永生。

他寧可和神的百姓一同受苦，也不願在罪中享受片刻的歡樂。他把為彌賽亞受凌辱看得比埃及的財物更寶貴，因為他想望所要得的賞賜。因着信，他離開埃及，不怕王的憤怒，因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見那不能看見的神。

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在神寶座的右邊。你們要仔細想想這位忍受了罪人如此頂撞的耶穌，你們就不致心灰意懶了。

這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要往永生裏去。」

願我們主耶穌基督自己，和那愛我們、開恩將永遠的安慰及美好的盼望賜給我們的父神，

贖罪祭牲的脂肪要燒在壇上。那放走山羊歸給阿撒瀉勒的人要洗衣服，用水洗身，然後才可以回到營裏。
