我们知道，当我们属地的家——这帐篷被拆毁的时候，我们就有从神而来的殿宇，不是人手所造的，而是在天上的永恒的家。

我们原知道，我们这地上的帐棚若拆毁了，必得神所造，不是人手所造，在天上永存的房屋。

吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

各位蒙爱的人哪，现在我们是神的儿女，将来会怎样，尚未显明。我们已经知道的是：基督显现的时候，我们就会像他，因为我们将看见他的本相。

我认为，只要我还在这帐篷里，就理当用提醒的话来激发你们，因为我知道我脱离这帐篷的时候快到了，就像我们的主耶稣基督也曾向我指明的。

不过我们有这宝物在瓦器里，为要显明这极大的能力是出于神，不是出于我们。

不过基督已经来到，做了那些已经发生的美善之事的大祭司，经过了那更大、更完美的会幕。那会幕不是人手所造的；就是说，不属于这被造的世界。

因为基督不是进入了人手所造的圣所——那不过是真圣所的象征——而是进入了上天本身，如今替我们显现在神的面前。

不过在先的不是属灵的，而是属血气的；在后的才是属灵的。第一个人是出于地，是属尘土的；第二个人是出于天。属尘土的那个人怎样，那些属尘土的也就怎样；属天的那一位怎样，那些属天的也就怎样。

原来我们在这帐篷里的人，承受着压力，甚至呻吟叹息；不是因为想要脱下，而是想要穿上，好让这会死的被生命所吞没。

得着不会朽坏、不会玷污、不会衰残、保存在天上的继业；

在我父家里有很多住处。如果没有，我怎么会告诉你们说，我去是要为你们预备地方呢？我如果去为你们预备了地方，就会再来，接你们到我那里，好使我在哪里，你们也能在哪里。

你必汗流满面才有饭吃，直到你归回土地，因为你是从那里取出来的。你本是尘土，就要归回尘土。”

既然这一切都要如此被废除，那么，你们应该做什么样的人呢？应该行为圣洁、敬畏神，

在他里面，你们也受了割礼，不是藉着人的手，而是藉着脱去那血肉之躯，藉着基督的割礼。

“我们听他说过‘我要拆毁这座人手所造的圣所，三天内另建一座不是人手所造的。’”

因为他等待着那座有根基的城；那城是神所设计、所建造的。

实际上，我们是神的同工；你们是神的田地，是神的建筑物。

于是在我呼求的日子里，我的仇敌必转身退后；我明白这一点：神在我这边！

因这理由，我也正在经受这些苦；然而我并不以为耻，因为我知道我信的是谁，也深信他能保守我所受的托付，直到那日。
