此君且原為諸會所推選、使與吾儕同行、協力勸募、以歸榮於主、而表吾人區區之心。

What is more, he was chosen by the churches to accompany us as we carry the offering, which we administer in order to honor the Lord himself and to show our eagerness to help.

我來到的時候、你們以書信稱許誰，我就打發誰，把你們的恩惠帶到耶路撒冷去。倘若我也值得去，他們就可以和我一同去。

一切都是為了你們，好叫恩惠、既藉着更多的人而增多着、便可以使感謝也越發溢流出來、以彰顯上帝之榮耀。

但我樣樣都收到了，而且有富餘；我已得補足，因為我從以巴弗提接受了你們那裏所送來的馨香之氣味、可接納的祭物、上帝所喜歡的。我的上帝必照他在榮耀中、在基督耶穌裏的豐富、使你們一切所需用的得了補足。

於是使徒長老同全教會就定意要從他們中間揀選人；所選的是：那稱巴撒巴的猶大和西拉、在弟兄中做領袖的人，差他們同保羅巴拿巴往安提阿去，

因為這供應的事不但補足了聖徒的缺乏，而且能使感謝上帝的心也越發滿溢地由許多人流出來。他們因了你們對基督福音之信認所表示的順服、又因了你們對他們又對眾人在團契捐上之慷慨、便藉着這供應之事所試驗出來的、將榮耀歸與上帝。他們自己也因了上帝在你們身上所賜超越的恩、而切慕你們，替你們祈求。

上帝能使各樣的恩惠充盈滿溢地流到你們身上來，使你們凡事常有十分的充足，能夠溢流出各樣慈善的事來。

弟兄們，我把上帝在馬其頓眾教會所賜的恩報給你們知道。就是在患難之大試驗中、他們喜樂之滿溢、跟他們很深的貧窮、竟溢流出他們慷慨施與之豐富來。我可以見證，他們是按着力量，而且過了力量，自願自動以再三再四的懇請求我們、讓他們將恩惠和團契捐去供應聖徒的需要。

我們就同心合意、定意揀選人，差他們、同我們親愛的巴拿巴和保羅、去見你們；

各人要照所受的恩賜彼此服事，做上帝各種恩惠的好管家。若有人宣講，要做講上帝神諭的；若有人作服事的工，要本着上帝所供給的力量；叫上帝在凡事上藉着耶穌基督而得榮耀：榮耀和權能都屬於他、世世無窮。阿們。

故此我們力勸提多說：他既怎樣把這捐獻恩惠的事提倡並開辦，就該怎樣在你們中間辦成。但你們既在凡事上、在信心、口才、知識、和萬分熱切上、又在你們待我們的愛心上、都充盈滿溢，那麼在這恩惠捐獻上也就應當充盈滿溢流出來啊。

所以弟兄們、總要鑑擇你們中間有好名譽的七個人，充滿着聖靈和智慧的，我們就委派他們來管理這事務；我們呢、便可以恆心專務於禱告和傳道的職事。』這話使全羣的眾人都滿意，他們就揀選一個充滿着信心和聖靈的人司提反、以及腓利、伯羅哥羅、尼迦挪、提門、巴米拿，和歸依猶太教的安提阿人尼哥拉；叫他們站在使徒面前；使徒就禱告，給他們按手。
