论到供给圣徒的事，我不必写信给你们；

关于服事圣徒的事，其实我不必给你们写什么，

關於供給聖徒的事，我本來不必寫信給你們；

關於供給聖徒的事，我本來不必寫信給你們；

關於捐助聖徒的事，其實我不必再寫信提醒你們，

關於供應聖徒的事，我本來沒有寫信給你們的必要，

論到供應聖徒的事、寫信給你們、於我是多餘的。

關於服事聖徒的事，其實我不必給你們寫什麼，

論供事聖徒、毋庸書以遺爾、

言及施濟聖徒、余毋庸丁寧、

論及周濟聖徒之事、我無庸書以囑爾、

其實關於周濟聖徒之事、應無須吾之喋喋也。

There is no need for me to write to you about this service to the Lord’s people.

I don’t need to write to you about giving to the Lord’s people.

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints,

I really don’t need to write to you about this ministry of giving for the believers in Jerusalem.

For it is not necessary for me to write you about this service to the saints,

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (niv)

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. (niv)

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, (niv)

Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so.Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means.For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,as it is written:“ The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.” (niv)
