于是，约押派人去将战争的一切事奏告大卫，又吩咐使者说：“你把战争的一切事对王说完了，王若发怒，对你说：‘你们打仗为什么挨近城呢？岂不知敌人会从城墙上射箭吗？从前击杀耶路比设的儿子亚比米勒的是谁呢？岂不是一个妇人从城墙上抛下一块上磨石来，打在他身上，他就死在提备斯吗？你们为什么挨近城墙呢？’你就说：‘你的仆人赫人乌利亚也死了。’”

不可让尸体留在木头上过夜，一定要当日把他埋葬，因为被挂的人是神所诅咒的。你不可玷污耶和华—你神所赐你为业的地。”

把头放在盘子里，拿来给那女孩，她就给她母亲。
