Jehoiada brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; he presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him, and the people clapped their hands and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

耶和華在西奈山上與摩西說完了話，就把兩塊法版交給他，是神用指頭寫的石版。

撒督祭司從帳幕裡拿出那盛膏油的角，膏立所羅門；然後有人吹角，眾民就說：“所羅門王萬歲！”

但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹妹約示巴，把亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從正要被殺的王子中偷了出來，把他和他的乳母藏在臥室裡面；他們把他收藏起來，躲避亞他利雅，免得他被殺死。

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，倒在掃羅的頭上，又與他親吻，說：“耶和華不是已經膏立你作他產業的領袖嗎？

你們必歡歡喜喜出來，平平安安蒙引導；大山小山都必在你們面前發聲歡呼，田野所有的樹木也都拍掌。

“他登上了國位的時候，就要把利未支派的祭司面前的律法書，為自己抄錄一份副本。那份副本要常在他身邊，他一生的年日都要誦讀，好學習敬畏耶和華他的神，謹守遵行這律法書上的一切話和這些律例。這樣，他的心就不會高傲，輕看自己的兄弟，也不會偏左偏右，離了這誡命；好使他和他的子孫在以色列中，在他的國位上，可以日子長久。”

萬民哪！你們都要鼓掌，要向神歡聲呼喊；

願江河拍手，願群山一起歡呼；

大衛的朋友亞基人戶篩去見押沙龍，對他說：“願王萬歲！願王萬歲！”

撒母耳就拿起盛油的角，在他的兄長中膏立他。從那天起，耶和華的靈就大大感動大衛。後來撒母耳動身往拉瑪去了。

你要拿著這瓶膏油，把油倒在他的頭上，說：“耶和華這樣說：‘我膏立你作王統治以色列。’然後，你要開門逃跑，不可停留。”

我要使他的仇敵都披上羞辱，但他的冠冕必在他頭上發光。”

你喜愛公義，恨惡不法，所以，神，就是你的神，用喜樂的油膏抹你，勝過膏抹你的同伴。”

王愛以斯帖超過所有其他的女子；在所有的處女中，她在王的面前，最得王的恩寵與喜愛；王把王后的冠冕戴在她頭上，立她為王后，代替瓦實提。

願他長久活著，願人把示巴的金子奉給他，願人為他不住禱告，終日給他祝福。願地上五穀豐登，山頂上也都豐收；願地上的果實茂盛，像黎巴嫩山的樹林，願城裡的人繁衍，好像地上的青草。願他的名永遠常存，願他的名延續像太陽的恆久；願萬人都因他蒙福，願萬國都稱他為有福的。

前呼後擁的群眾喊叫著：“‘和散那’歸於大衛的子孫，奉主名來的是應當稱頌的，高天之上當唱‘和散那’。”

那在基督裡堅定我們和你們，又膏抹我們的，就是神。

在那裡撒督祭司和拿單先知要膏立他作以色列的王。你們要吹角，說：‘所羅門王萬歲！’

他們對尼布甲尼撒王說：“願王萬歲！

現在你們要堅強，要作勇敢的人，因為你們的主掃羅已經死了；猶大家已經膏立了我作他們的王了。”

大衛從他們的王的頭上奪取了王冠。王冠的金子重三十五公斤，上面嵌有寶石，人把這冠冕戴在大衛的頭上。大衛又從這城裡帶走了許多戰利品，

又用荊棘編成冠冕，戴在他的頭上，把一根蘆葦放在他的右手，跪在他面前譏笑他說：“猶太人的王萬歲！”

希律和本丟．彼拉多，外族人和以色列民，真的在這城裡聚集，反對你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

不過，我們看見那位暫時成了比天使卑微（“暫時成了比天使卑微”或譯：“比天使稍低微一點”）的耶穌，因為受了死的痛苦，就得了榮耀尊貴作冠冕，好叫他因著神的恩典，為萬人嘗了死味。

但以理對王說：“願王萬歲！

於是他們把王子領出來，給他戴上王冠，又把約書交給他，立他為王；耶何耶大和他的眾子用膏膏他，並且說：“願王萬歲！”

你要捲起律法書，在我的門徒中間封住訓誨。

以色列的眾長老都到希伯崙來見王。大衛王在希伯崙耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏立大衛作以色列的王。

他的眼睛好像火燄，頭上戴著許多皇冠，他身上寫著一個名字，這名字除了他自己沒有人認識。

他們應當求問神的訓誨和法度；他們若不照著這些準則說話，就見不到曙光。

他在雅各設立法度，在以色列中制訂律法，就是他吩咐我們的列祖，去教訓他們的子孫的，

要把王常穿的朝服和王常騎的駿馬，就是頭戴王冠的駿馬帶來，

你以美福迎接他，把精金的冠冕戴在他頭上。

耶和華所膏立的，我們鼻孔的氣息，在他們的陷坑中被捉住；我們論到他曾說：“我們要在他的蔭庇之下，在列國中存活。”

你捨棄了和你僕人所立的約，把他的冠冕玷污在地。

於是猶大人來到希伯崙，在那裡膏立了大衛作王，統治猶大家。有人報告大衛說：“埋葬掃羅的是基列‧雅比人。”

在第七年，耶何耶大派人把迦利人和衛兵的眾百夫長帶來，領他們進入耶和華的殿中，和他們立約，使他們在耶和華的殿裡起誓，然後把王子帶出來和他們見面。
