Jehoiada brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; he presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him, and the people clapped their hands and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，澆在掃羅頭上，然後親吻他，說：「耶和華不是已經膏立你為領袖掌管他的繼業嗎？

「你們將歡歡喜喜地出來，平平安安地蒙引領；群山和岡陵必在你們面前放聲歡呼，田野裡所有的樹木也都拍掌。

萬民哪，你們當鼓掌，當用歡呼的聲音向神呼喊！

願江河拍掌，願群山在耶和華面前一同歡唱！

那時候，大衛的朋友亞基人戶篩去見押沙龍，戶篩對押沙龍說：「願王萬歲！願王萬歲！」

於是撒母耳拿起裝膏油的犄角，在他兄弟們當中膏抹了他。從那天以後，耶和華的靈就大大臨到大衛。撒母耳起身回拉瑪去了。

我必使他的仇敵披上恥辱；而他的冠冕必在他頭上發光。」

你愛公義，恨罪惡，為此，神——你的神用喜樂的油來膏立你，而不膏立你的同伴。」

王愛以斯帖勝過所有其他的女人；她在王面前蒙恩寵、蒙恩慈勝過所有其他的處女。王就把王后的冠冕戴在她的頭上，立她為王后代替瓦實提。

願他長壽！願人把示巴的金子獻給他；願人一直為他禱告，終日祝福他。願五穀在大地、在群山的頂上豐盛；願它們的果實晃動，如同黎巴嫩的香柏樹；願城中人丁興旺，如同地上的牧草。願他的名存到永遠，如太陽長久；願人們因他蒙福，願所有的國家都稱他有福。

前行後隨的人群呼喊說：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！奉主名而來的那一位——是蒙祝福的！在至高之處——和散那！」

原來將我們與你們在基督裡一起確立，並且膏立了我們大家的那一位，就是神。

他們開口對尼布甲尼撒王說：「願王萬歲！

現在，你們的主掃羅死了，猶大家已經膏立我作他們的王，所以你們要堅強，作英勇的人。」

大衛奪取了亞捫王頭上的王冠，其金子的重量是一他連得，其上有寶石；這王冠就戴在大衛的頭上。大衛從那城帶走了極多的戰利品，

用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他的頭上，又把一根蘆葦放在他的右手裡，然後跪在他面前，戲弄他說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」

「事實上，希律和本丟彼拉多，與外邦人和以色列子民果然在這城裡一同聚集，對付你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

不過我們看見的是：那暫時比天使低微的耶穌，因著死亡的痛苦被賜予榮耀和尊貴為冠冕，好使他藉著神的恩典，替所有的人嘗了死的滋味。

那時但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！

你要收起誡命，在我的門徒中封住訓誨。

以色列的長老們都來到希伯崙見王，大衛王在希伯崙，在耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏立大衛作以色列的王。

他的眼睛像火焰，頭上戴著許多王冠。他有一個寫好的名字，除了他自己以外，沒有人認識這名字。

當求問神的訓誨和誡命！如果他們不按照這準則說話，他們就沒有曙光。

他在雅各中立下法度，在以色列中設立律法，這律法是他吩咐我們的祖先教導子孫的，

應該讓人把王所穿的王袍和王所騎的馬，就是頭戴御冠的馬帶來，

是的，你用美好的祝福迎接他，把純金的冠冕戴在他頭上。

你廢棄了與你僕人所立的約，把他的冠冕踐踏在地。

猶大人前來，在那裡膏立大衛作猶大家的王。有人告訴大衛說：「是基列-雅比人埋葬了掃羅。」
