义人增多，万众欢腾；恶人得势，万民叹息。

耶和华对摩西说：“你要用银子打造两支号，用来招聚会众和发出拔营的号令。吹响两支号时，全体会众要聚集到你那里，即会幕门口。如果只吹响一支号，担任首领的以色列各族长要聚集到你那里。如果吹响拔营的号令，在东面扎营的就要启行；第二次吹响拔营号令时，在南面扎营的就要启行。拔营号令是启行的信号。但吹号招聚会众时，不要用拔营号令。做祭司的亚伦子孙要负责吹号，这是世代不变的律例。当你们在自己的土地上跟敌人作战时，要吹号，你们的上帝耶和华必眷顾你们，救你们脱离敌人。在节期和朔日这些欢乐的日子献燔祭和平安祭的时候，你们要吹号，好在你们的上帝面前蒙眷顾。我是你们的上帝耶和华。”

他们伤心地撕裂衣服，把东西放回驴背上，返回城里。

亚哈谢的母亲亚她利雅见儿子死了，便决定除掉王室后裔。但约兰王的女儿、亚哈谢的妹妹约示芭把亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从被杀的王子中偷出来，将他和乳母藏在一间卧室里，才躲过亚她利雅，使约阿施没有被杀。

见到以利亚后，就说：“给以色列带来灾祸的就是你吗？”以利亚回答说：“给以色列带来灾祸的不是我，而是你和你父亲家，因为你们抛弃耶和华的诫命，去随从巴力。
