Jehoiada the priest ordered the commanders of units of a hundred, who were in charge of the troops:“ Bring her out between the ranks and put to the sword anyone who follows her.” For the priest had said,“ She must not be put to death in the temple of the Lord.”

Jehoiada the priest gave an order to the commanders of the military groups of 100 men. The commanders were in charge of the troops. He said to them,“ Bring her away from the temple between the line of guards. Use your swords to kill anyone who follows her.” The priest had said,“ She must not be put to death at the Lord’ s temple.”

Then Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains who were set over the army,“ Bring her out between the ranks, and put to death with the sword anyone who follows her.” For the priest said,“ Let her not be put to death in the house of the Lord.”

Then Jehoiada the priest ordered the commanders who were in charge of the troops,“ Take her to the soldiers in front of the Temple, and kill anyone who tries to rescue her.” For the priest had said,“ She must not be killed in the Temple of the Lord.”

Then the priest Jehoiada ordered the commanders of hundreds in charge of the army,“ Take her out between the ranks, and put to death by the sword anyone who follows her,” for the priest had said,“ She is not to be put to death in the LORD’s temple.”

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds who were appointed over the army and said to them,“ Bring her out between the ranks, and whoever follows her, put to death with the sword!” For the priest said,“ She is not to be put to death at the house of the Lord.”

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the army, and said to them,“ Take her outside under guard, and slay with the sword whoever follows her.” For the priest had said,“ Do not let her be killed in the house of the Lord.”

Jehoiada the priest ordered the officers of the units of hundreds, who were in charge of the army,“ Bring her outside the temple to the guards. Put the sword to anyone who follows her.” The priest gave this order because he had decided she should not be executed in the LORD’s temple.

他又对他们说：“你们要玷污这殿，使这些院子充满被杀的人；你们出去吧！”于是他们出去，在城中进行杀戮。

“人子啊！至于你，你要拍手说预言，要接二连三地使用这杀人的刀，就是导致极大死伤的刀，把它们围困，

于是耶何耶大祭司把神的殿里，原本属于大卫王的矛枪、大盾和小盾，交给了众百夫长；

耶何耶大祭司把管辖军队的众百夫长叫出来，对他们说：“把她从各班次中间赶出去；跟随她的人，都要用刀杀死。”因为祭司说：“不可在耶和华的殿内杀死她。”

在第七年，耶何耶大派人把迦利人和卫兵的众百夫长带来，领他们进入耶和华的殿中，和他们立约，使他们在耶和华的殿里起誓，然后把王子带出来和他们见面。

于是众百夫长照着耶何耶大祭司的一切吩咐去行。他们各自率领人马，无论在安息日值班或不用当值的，都来到耶何耶大祭司那里。耶何耶大就把藏在耶和华殿里，属于大卫王的矛枪和盾牌交给众百夫长。
