命之曰、爾當如是而行、凡安息日入值者、三分之一宜守王宮、

曰、宜聽我言、值安息日、爾眾入此者、當以三分之一、守王子之室、

命之曰、爾所當行者如是、凡爾安息日來入班者、三分之一當守王宮、

He commanded them, saying,“ This is what you are to do: You who are in the three companies that are going on duty on the Sabbath— a third of you guarding the royal palace,

He gave them a command. He said,“ Here’s what you must do. There are five groups of you. Some of you are in the three groups that are going on duty on the Sabbath day. A third of you must guard the royal palace.

And he commanded them,“ This is the thing that you shall do: one third of you, those who come off duty on the Sabbath and guard the king’s house

Jehoiada told them,“ This is what you must do. A third of you who are on duty on the Sabbath are to guard the royal palace itself.

and commanded them,“ This is what you are to do: A third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath are to provide protection for the king’s palace.

And he commanded them, saying,“ This is the thing that you shall do: a third of you, who come in on the Sabbath and keep watch over the king’s house

Then he commanded them, saying,“ This is what you shall do: One-third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath shall be keeping watch over the king’s house,

And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

and commanded them,“ This is what you are to do: a third of you who come on duty on the Sabbath are to provide protection for the king’s palace.

And he commanded them, saying, This[ is] the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

He ordered them,“ This is what you must do. One third of the unit that is on duty during the Sabbath will guard the royal palace.

He commanded them, saying,“ This is what you must do: a third of you, who come in on the Sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;

他們的弟兄住在村莊，每七日來與他們換班。

猶大的官長們聽見這些事，就從王宮上到耶和華的殿，坐在耶和華殿新門的入口。

利未人三十歲以上的都被數點，他們男丁的數目共有三萬八千；其中有二萬四千人管理耶和華殿的事務，有六千人作官長和審判官，有四千人作門口的守衛，又有四千人頌讚耶和華，用大衛造的樂器來頌讚。大衛把利未人革順、哥轄、米拉利的子孫分了班次。

撒迦利亞按班次在上帝面前執行祭司的職務，照祭司的規矩抽籤，進到主的殿裏燒香。

他們照管會幕和聖所，服事他們的弟兄亞倫的子孫，辦理耶和華殿的事務。

耶和華對我說：「這門必須關閉，不可敞開，誰也不可由其中進入；因為耶和華－以色列的上帝已經由其中進入，所以必須關閉。至於君王，他必按君王的位分坐在其內，在耶和華面前吃餅。他必由這門的走廊而入，也必由此而出。」

王從外面要由門的走廊進入，站在門框旁邊；祭司要為他預備燔祭和平安祭，王要在門的門檻那裏敬拜，然後退出。這門直到晚上不可關閉。安息日和初一，這地的百姓要在這門口，在耶和華面前敬拜。

他為了亞述王的緣故，在耶和華的殿裏移動殿裏為安息日所蓋的遮棚和王從外面進來的入口。

席上的食物，坐着的羣臣，侍立的僕人，他們的服裝，和他的司酒長，以及他在耶和華殿裏所獻的燔祭，就詫異得神不守舍。

大衛和以利亞撒的子孫撒督，以及以他瑪的子孫亞希米勒，把他們按照任務分成班次，發現以利亞撒子孫中作領袖的，比以他瑪子孫中作領袖的更多，就分班如下：以利亞撒的子孫中有十六個族長，以他瑪的子孫中有八個族長。他們抽籤分配，彼此一樣。在聖所和上帝面前作領袖的有以利亞撒的子孫，也有以他瑪的子孫。作書記的利未人拿坦業的兒子示瑪雅在王和領袖，與撒督祭司、亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒，以及祭司和利未人的族長面前記錄他們的名字；在以利亞撒的子孫中取一族，在以他瑪的子孫中也取一族。

又率領百夫長，迦利人和護衛兵，以及國中的眾百姓，請王從耶和華的殿下來，由護衛兵的門進入王宮，他就坐上王位。
