Then he said,“ Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him,“ Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped.

Elisha continued,“ Get some arrows.” So the king did. Elisha told him,“ Strike the ground.” Jehoash struck it three times. Then he stopped.

And he said,“ Take the arrows,” and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground with them.” And he struck three times and stopped.

Then he said,“ Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground.” So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times.

Then Elisha said,“ Take the arrows!” So he took them. Then Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground!” So he struck the ground three times and stopped.

「人子啊，你去拿一塊磚放在自己面前，把耶路撒冷城畫在上面。然後圍困這城，建壘築臺，紮營圍攻，四面架起撞城錘。拿一個鐵盤當作鐵牆放在你和城中間。你要面向這城，圍困攻擊這城。這是給以色列人的一個徵兆。「你要向左側臥，擔當以色列人的罪惡。要用你向左側臥的天數擔當以色列人的罪惡。他們犯罪多少年，我要讓你側臥多少天。你要擔當以色列人的罪惡三百九十天。然後，你再向右側臥，擔當猶大的罪惡四十天。你側臥的天數代表他們犯罪的年數。你要面向被圍困的耶路撒冷，光著臂膀說預言斥責這城。我要用繩索捆綁你，使你不能側轉，直到你圍城的日子期滿。「你要拿小麥、大麥、豆、扁豆、小米和粗麥裝在器皿中用來為自己做餅，作為你三百九十天側臥期間的糧食。你每天要按時按量吃二百克，

摩西什麼時候舉手，以色列人就得勝；他的手什麼時候垂下來，亞瑪力人就佔上風。

「人子啊，去拿一把快刀當作剃頭刀，剃掉你的頭髮和鬍鬚，然後用天平把鬚髮平均分成三份。圍城期滿後，你要把三分之一的鬚髮焚燒在城中，三分之一在城的四周用刀砍斷，三分之一要揚在風中吹散，因為我要拔刀追殺他們。你要從鬚髮中取出幾縷用衣服包上，再從中取出幾根丟在火裡焚燒，必有火從這裡燃起，蔓延到整個以色列。」

器皿都裝滿了，她對兒子說：「再拿個器皿給我。」兒子說：「已經沒有了。」這時，油止住了。

耶和華吩咐亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞脫去身上的麻衣和腳上的鞋。以賽亞便遵命裸身赤足而行。耶和華說：「我僕人以賽亞已經裸身赤足行走三年，作為懲罰埃及和古實的標記和預兆。亞述王必把埃及和古實的老老少少裸身赤足地擄走，使埃及蒙受羞辱。

耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你住在叛逆的人當中。他們有眼睛卻視而不見，有耳朵卻聽而不聞，因為他們是叛逆的人。所以，人子啊，你要準備流亡的行裝，在白天當著他們的面從你住的地方搬到別處。他們雖然叛逆，或許還會明白其中的意思。你要在白天當著他們的面把預備流亡的行裝拿出來，你要在晚上當著他們的面像流亡的人一樣出去。你要當著他們的面在牆上挖一個洞，帶著行裝鑽出去。你要在天黑時當著他們的面背著行裝出發。你要蒙著臉使自己看不見地，因為我要使你成為以色列人被擄的預兆。」於是，我遵命而行。白天我把預備流亡的行裝拿出來，晚上用手挖通了牆，當著他們的面背著行裝在夜色中出發。
