Then he said,“ Take the arrows,” and the king took them. Elisha told him,“ Strike the ground.” He struck it three times and stopped.

Elisha continued,“ Get some arrows.” So the king did. Elisha told him,“ Strike the ground.” Jehoash struck it three times. Then he stopped.

And he said,“ Take the arrows,” and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground with them.” And he struck three times and stopped.

Then he said,“ Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground.” So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times.

Then Elisha said,“ Take the arrows!” So he took them. Then Elisha said to the king of Israel,“ Strike the ground!” So he struck the ground three times and stopped.

「人子啊，你要拿一塊磚，擺在你面前，將一座耶路撒冷城畫在其上，又圍困這城，造臺築壘，安營攻擊，在四圍安設撞錘攻城，又要拿個鐵鏊，放在你和城的中間，作為鐵牆。你要對面攻擊這城，使城被困；這樣，好作以色列家的預兆。「你要向左側臥，承當以色列家的罪孽；要按你向左側臥的日數，擔當他們的罪孽。因為我已將他們作孽的年數定為你向左側臥的日數，就是三百九十日，你要這樣擔當以色列家的罪孽。再者，你滿了這些日子，還要向右側臥，擔當猶大家的罪孽。我給你定規側臥四十日，一日頂一年。你要露出膀臂，面向被困的耶路撒冷，說預言攻擊這城。我用繩索捆綁你，使你不能輾轉，直等你滿了困城的日子。「你要取小麥、大麥、豆子、紅豆、小米、粗麥，裝在一個器皿中，用以為自己做餅；要按你側臥的三百九十日吃這餅。你所吃的要按分兩吃，每日二十舍客勒，按時而吃。

摩西何時舉手，以色列人就得勝，何時垂手，亞瑪力人就得勝。

「人子啊，你要拿一把快刀，當作剃頭刀，用這刀剃你的頭髮和你的鬍鬚，用天平將鬚髮平分。圍困城的日子滿了，你要將三分之一在城中用火焚燒，將三分之一在城的四圍用刀砍碎，將三分之一任風吹散；我也要拔刀追趕。你要從其中取幾根包在衣襟裏，再從這幾根中取些扔在火中焚燒，從裏面必有火出來燒入以色列全家。

器皿都滿了，她對兒子說：「再給我拿器皿來。」兒子說：「再沒有器皿了。」油就止住了。

那時，耶和華曉諭亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞說：「你去解掉你腰間的麻布，脫下你腳上的鞋。」以賽亞就這樣做，露身赤腳行走。耶和華說：「我僕人以賽亞怎樣露身赤腳行走三年，作為關乎埃及和古實的預兆奇蹟。照樣，亞述王也必擄去埃及人，掠去古實人，無論老少，都露身赤腳，現出下體，使埃及蒙羞。

耶和華的話又臨到我說：「人子啊，你住在悖逆的家中。他們有眼睛看不見，有耳朵聽不見，因為他們是悖逆之家。所以人子啊，你要預備擄去使用的物件，在白日當他們眼前從你所住的地方移到別處去；他們雖是悖逆之家，或者可以揣摩思想。你要在白日當他們眼前帶出你的物件去，好像預備擄去使用的物件。到了晚上，你要在他們眼前親自出去，像被擄的人出去一樣。你要在他們眼前挖通了牆，從其中將物件帶出去。到天黑時，你要當他們眼前搭在肩頭上帶出去，並要蒙住臉看不見地，因為我立你作以色列家的預兆。」我就照着所吩咐的去行，白日帶出我的物件，好像預備擄去使用的物件。到了晚上，我用手挖通了牆。天黑的時候，就當他們眼前搭在肩頭上帶出去。
