So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son.

So the Lord was very angry with Israel. For a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael, the king of Aram. The Lord also kept them under the power of his son Ben- Hadad.

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them continually into the hand of Hazael king of Syria and into the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael.

So the Lord was very angry with Israel, and he allowed King Hazael of Aram and his son Ben hadad to defeat them repeatedly.

So the LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he handed them over to King Hazael of Aram and to his son Ben-hadad during their reigns.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and He continually handed them over to Hazael king of Aram, and to Ben hadad, the son of Hazael.

Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, continually.

So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and He surrendered them to the power of Hazael king of Aram and his son Ben-hadad during their reigns.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all[ their] days.

The LORD was furious with Israel and handed them over to King Hazael of Syria and to Hazael’s son Ben Hadad for many years.

耶和華怒以色列族、付於虜者之手、鬻於四周之敵、使不能禦之、

亞蘭王哈薛卒、子便哈達嗣位、昔哈薛與約阿施父約哈斯戰、取其數邑、今約阿施三擊哈薛子便哈達、恢復以色列邑、

避哈薛之刃者、必為耶戶所殺、避耶戶之刃者、必為以利沙所殺、

時、亞蘭王哈薛、上攻迦特取之、遂定志上耶路撒冷、

蓋爾上帝耶和華乃烈火、忌邪之上帝、○厥後、爾久居斯土、生子生孫、如其自敗、依像雕偶、作惡於爾上帝耶和華前、以激其怒、我今日籲天地為證、爾於濟約但所承之地、必速絕滅、不得延年、淪胥以亡、耶和華必散爾於列邦、在其導爾所至之國、餘者無幾、

蓋我之上帝、乃焚燬之火也、

我必敵爾、使見擊於敵前、憾爾者將制爾、無人追襲、爾亦遁逃、

哈薛曰、我主何為而哭、曰、我知爾於以色列人將行之惡、以火燬其堅城、以刃殺其丁壯、擲斃其嬰孩、刳剔其孕婦、哈薛曰、僕何人斯、乃一犬耳、焉能行此大事、以利沙曰、耶和華已示我、爾必為亞蘭王、

故耶和華怒以色列人、付之米所波大米王古珊利薩田手、事之八年、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾攻之也由一途、爾逃之也由七途、拋棄於天下萬國之中、

亞述為我震怒之梃、其手所持、乃我忿恚之杖、我遣之攻褻慢之邦、令其擊我所恚之民、虜之掠之、且蹂躪之、若街衢之泥塗、

約哈斯在位時、亞蘭王哈薛恆虐以色列人、

耶和華怒以色列人、付於非利士人、及亞捫人之手、以色列人居約但東、屬基列之亞摩利地者、自是受其擾害暴虐、歷十八年、亞捫人亦渡約但、攻猶大便雅憫暨以法蓮族、以色列人窘甚、籲耶和華曰、我棄我之上帝而事巴力、獲罪於爾、耶和華諭以色列人曰、我豈未拯爾於埃及亞摩利亞捫非利士人乎、昔西頓亞瑪力馬雲人虐爾、爾呼籲我、我亦拯爾於其手、爾乃棄我、而事他神、我不復拯爾矣、爾可往籲所簡之神、爾遭難時、任其拯之、
