Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

以利沙说：“拿点面粉来。”他把面粉撒在锅里，说：“倒出来给众人喝吧。”于是，汤里没有毒了。

上帝的仆人问：“斧头掉在哪里了？”他就指给以利沙看。以利沙砍了一根树枝抛进水里，斧头便浮了上来。

所有素祭中都要放盐，借此提醒你们与上帝所立的约。所有祭物中都要放盐。

河两岸有结十二种果子的生命树，每个月都结果子，叶子能医治万民。再也没有咒诅，因为城里有上帝和羔羊的宝座，祂的奴仆都要事奉祂。

盐是好东西，但如果失去咸味，怎能使它再咸呢？你们里面要有盐，要彼此和睦。”

耶稣讲完后，便吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在那盲人的眼睛上，

因为十字架之道在将要灭亡的人看来是愚昧的，但对我们这些得救的人来说却是上帝的大能，正如圣经上说：“我要摧毁智者的智慧，废弃明哲的聪明。”这个世代所谓的智者、学者、雄辩家在哪里？上帝岂不是把这世上的智慧都变成愚昧了吗？上帝运用自己的智慧不让世人凭自己的智慧去认识祂，祂乐意采用世人看为愚昧的道理去拯救那些相信的人，这就是上帝的智慧。犹太人要看神迹，希腊人寻求智慧，但我们传讲被钉十字架的基督。这对犹太人来说是绊脚石，对外族人来说是愚昧的。但对于蒙召的人，无论是犹太人还是希腊人，基督是上帝的能力、上帝的智慧。因为上帝的“愚昧”也胜过世人的智慧，上帝的“软弱”也胜过世人的刚强。弟兄姊妹，想想你们蒙召时的情形。按人的标准来衡量，你们当中称得上有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，出身名门望族的也不多。但上帝拣选了世人看为愚昧的，要使智者羞愧；上帝拣选了世上软弱的，要使强者蒙羞；上帝拣选了世上卑贱的、被藐视的和无足轻重的，要使世人看为举足轻重的变得无足轻重。

他对我说：“这水向东流，经过亚拉巴流到盐海，使那里的咸水变为淡水。河水流经的地方，万物滋长，鱼产丰盛，因为河水使那里的咸水变成淡水了。渔夫要站在岸边捕鱼，从隐·基底到隐·以革莲都是晒网的地方。那里的鱼就像大海的鱼一样种类繁多。但沼泽和湿洼之地却不会改变，留作产盐之地。

“人们因为我的缘故侮辱、迫害、肆意毁谤你们，你们就有福了。

上帝要擦干他们所有的眼泪，再没有死亡、忧伤、哭泣和痛苦，因为以前的事都已成过去。”

祂使江河变成荒漠，水泉变成干地，叫沃土变成荒凉的盐碱地，因为那里的居民邪恶。祂叫荒漠水塘遍布，使旱地甘泉涌流。祂使饥饿的人住在那里，建造可安居的城邑，耕种田地，栽植葡萄园，收成丰硕。祂赐福给他们，使他们人丁兴旺，牲口有增无减。
