Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

He went out to the spring and threw the salt in. Then he said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or fail to produce crops.”

He went out to the spring of the waters, and threw salt into it, and said,“ Yahweh says,‘ I have healed these waters. There shall not be from there any more death or barren wasteland.’”

摩西呼求耶和華，耶和華指示他一棵樹。他把樹丟在水裏，水就變甜了。耶和華在那裏為他們定了律例、典章，在那裏考驗他們。他說：「你若留心聽從耶和華－你神的話，行我眼中看為正的事，側耳聽我的誡令，遵守我一切的律例，我就不將所加於埃及人的疾病加在你身上，因為我是醫治你的耶和華。」

以利沙說：「拿點麵來。」他把麵撒在鍋中，說：「倒出來，給大家吃吧！」鍋中就沒有毒了。

神人說：「掉在哪裏了？」他把那地方指給以利沙看。以利沙砍了一塊木頭，拋在水裏，就使斧子的頭浮上來了。

凡獻為素祭的供物都要用鹽調和；在素祭中，不可缺少你與神立約的鹽。一切的供物都要加鹽獻上。

經過城內街道的中央；在河的兩邊有生命樹，結十二樣的果子，每月都結果子；樹上的葉子可作醫治萬民之用。以後不再有任何詛咒。在城裏將有神和羔羊的寶座。他的僕人都要事奉他，

鹽本是好的，若失了鹹味，你們怎能用它調味呢？你們中間要有鹽，彼此和睦。」

耶穌說了這些話，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和了泥抹在盲人的眼睛上，

因為十字架的道理，在那滅亡的人是愚拙，在我們得救的人卻是神的大能。就如經上所記：「我要摧毀智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。」智慧人在哪裏？文士在哪裏？這世上的辯士在哪裏？神豈不是已使這世上的智慧變成愚拙了嗎？既然世人憑自己的智慧不認識神，神就本着自己的智慧樂意藉着人所傳愚拙的話拯救那些信的人。猶太人要的是神蹟，希臘人求的是智慧，我們卻是傳被釘十字架的基督，這對猶太人是絆腳石，對外邦人是愚拙；但對那蒙召的，無論是猶太人、希臘人，基督總是神的大能，神的智慧。因為，神的愚拙總比人智慧；神的軟弱總比人強壯。弟兄們哪，想一想你們的蒙召，按着人的觀點，有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴地位的也不多。但是，神揀選了世上愚拙的，為了使有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，為了使強壯的羞愧。神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那一無所有的，為要廢掉那樣樣都有的，

他對我說：「這水往東方流，下到亞拉巴，直到海。所流出來的水，一入海就使水變淡。這兩條河所到之處，凡滋生的動物都必存活；這水流到那裏，使那裏的水變淡，因此裏面有極多的魚。這河水所到之處，百物都必存活。必有漁夫站在河邊，從隱‧基底直到隱‧以革蓮，全都成了曬網的場所。那裏的魚各從其類，好像大海的魚甚多。但是沼澤與池塘的水無法變淡，只能作產鹽之用。

「人若因我辱罵你們，迫害你們，捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們就有福了！

神要擦去他們一切的眼淚；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、痛苦，因為先前的事都過去了。」

他使江河變為曠野，叫水泉變為乾涸之地，使肥沃之地變為荒蕪的鹽地，都因當地居民的邪惡。他使曠野變為水潭，叫旱地變為水泉，使飢餓的人住在那裏，建造可居住的城，又種田地，栽葡萄園，得享所出產的果實。他賜福給他們，使他們生養眾多，也不叫他們的牲畜減少。
