昔我滅撒馬利亞、及亞哈家、亦必循此準繩、滅耶路撒冷、必行拂拭、如人拭盤即覆之、

我將以量撒瑪利亞之繩、與權亞哈家之錘、施於耶路撒冷、或作昔我滅撒瑪利亞及亞哈家必循此準繩以滅耶路撒冷必拭去耶路撒冷、如人拭盂即覆之、

I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line used against the house of Ahab. I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will measure out punishment against Jerusalem, just as I did against Samaria. I used a plumb line against the royal family of Ahab. I used it to prove that they did not measure up to my standards. I will use the same plumb line against Jerusalem. I will wipe out Jerusalem, just as someone wipes a dish. I will wipe it and turn it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria, and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will judge Jerusalem by the same standard I used for Samaria and the same measure I used for the family of Ahab. I will wipe away the people of Jerusalem as one wipes a dish and turns it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line used on Samaria and the mason’s level used on the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean as one wipes a bowl— wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean just as one wipes a bowl, wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line used on Samaria and the mason’s level used on the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem clean as one wipes a bowl— wiping it and turning it upside down.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as[ a man] wipeth a dish, wiping[ it], and turning[ it] upside down.

I will destroy Jerusalem the same way I did Samaria and the dynasty of Ahab. I will wipe Jerusalem clean, just as one wipes a plate on both sides.

I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of Ahab’s house; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

鹈鹕、豪猪要得它为业，猫头鹰、乌鸦要住在其间。耶和华必将空虚的准绳、混沌的石垂线，拉在以东之上。

以色列啊，你的百姓虽多如海沙，惟有剩下的归回。灭绝之事已成定局，公义必如水涨溢。

你走了你姊姊的路，所以我必把她的杯交在你的手中。”主耶和华如此说：“你必喝你姊姊的杯，那杯又深又广，盛得很多，使你遭受嗤笑讥刺。你必酩酊大醉，满有愁苦。你姊姊撒玛利亚的杯，惊骇和凄凉的杯，你必喝它，并且喝干。甚至咀嚼杯片，撕裂自己的胸脯；因为我曾说过。这是主耶和华说的。”

凡亚哈家在耶斯列所剩下的，他的大臣、密友、祭司，耶户全都杀了，没有留下一个幸存者。

我以公平为准绳，以公义为铅垂线；冰雹必冲去谎言的避难所，大水必漫过藏身之处。

看哪，我必召北方的众族和我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒前来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围所有的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。

因此，看哪，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，把属耶罗波安的男丁，无论是奴役的、自由的，都从以色列中剪除。我必除灭耶罗波安的家，如同人扫除粪土，直到消灭。

你要添上木柴，使火着旺，将肉煮烂，加上香料，烤焦骨头；你要把空锅放在炭火上，将锅烧热，把铜烧红，熔化其中的污秽，除净其上的锈。

何细亚第九年，亚述王攻取了撒玛利亚，把以色列人掳到亚述，安置在哈腊与歌散的哈博河边，以及玛代人的城镇。

有一位大力的天使举起一块石头，好像大磨石，扔在海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样猛力地被扔下去，绝对见不到了。弹琴、歌唱、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间绝对听不见了；各行手艺的技工在你中间绝对见不到了；推磨的声音在你中间绝对听不见了；灯台的光在你中间绝对不再照耀了；新郎和新娘的声音在你中间绝对听不见了。你的商人原来是地上的显要；万国也被你的邪术迷惑了。

所以耶和华如此说：现在我回到耶路撒冷，仍要施怜悯，我的殿要重建在其中，准绳必拉在耶路撒冷之上。这是万军之耶和华说的。

“我必使巴比伦为豪猪占据，成为泥沼之地；我要用灭命的扫帚扫净它；这是万军之耶和华说的。”

耶和华说：‘看哪，我必使灾祸临到你，把你除灭。以色列中凡属亚哈的男丁，无论是奴役的、自由的，我都要剪除。我必使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又使以色列陷入罪里。’论到耶洗别，耶和华说：‘狗必在耶斯列的城郭吃耶洗别。凡属亚哈的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃。’”
