Moreover, Manasseh also shed so much innocent blood that he filled Jerusalem from end to end— besides the sin that he had caused Judah to commit, so that they did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Manasseh also spilled the blood of many people who weren’t guilty of doing anything wrong. He spilled so much blood that he filled Jerusalem with it from one end of the city to the other. And he caused Judah to commit sin. So they also did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Moreover, Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides the sin that he made Judah to sin so that they did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷，你殺害先知，又用石頭把奉派到你那裡的人打死。我多次想招聚你的兒女，好像母雞招聚小雞到翅膀底下，只是你們不願意。

祭司長把銀子拾起來，說：“這是血錢，不可放在殿庫裡。”

被石頭打死，被鋸鋸死，（後期抄本在此加上“受試探”）被刀殺死。他們披著綿羊山羊的皮到處奔跑、受窮乏、遭患難、被虐待；

“因猶大王希西家的兒子瑪拿西在耶路撒冷的所作所為，我必使地上萬國看見他們的遭遇就驚恐。”

因為他們離棄了我，把這地方玷污了，在這地方向列神燒香。這些神是他們和他們的列祖，以及猶大列王所不認識的；他們又使這地方灑滿無辜人的血。

可是瑪拿西卻引誘猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民行惡，比耶和華在以色列人面前除滅的列國更厲害。

在你衣襟上又發現無辜窮人的血，並且你不是發現他們在挖窟窿時殺他們的。雖然這樣，

他又把自己所做的亞舍拉雕像安放在聖殿中，耶和華曾對大衛和他的兒子所羅門論到這殿說：“我要在這殿和我從以色列眾支派中揀選的耶路撒冷，立我的名，直到永遠。

耶和華啊，求你赦免你的子民以色列，就是你救贖的，不要使流無辜人的血的罪歸在你的子民以色列中間。’這樣，他們流人血的罪就得到赦免了。如果你行耶和華看為正的事，就可以從你中間除掉流無辜人的血的罪了。

並且說：‘我們若活在我們祖先的時代，決不會與他們一同流先知的血。’這樣，你們就指證自己是殺害先知的人的子孫了。

摩西對亞倫說：“這人民向你作了甚麼，你竟使他們陷在大罪裡呢？”

這事臨到猶大完全是出於耶和華的命令，因著瑪拿西的罪，就是他所行的一切，要把他們從自己面前趕走；又因著他所流無辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷滿了無辜人的血，耶和華決不赦免。

如果你們不欺壓寄居的，不欺壓孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不跟從別的神，自招禍患；

耶和華必擊打以色列人，他們就擺動，像蘆葦在水中擺動一樣。他要把以色列人從他賜給他們列祖的這塊美地上拔出來，把他們分散在幼發拉底河那邊，因為他們做了亞舍拉，惹耶和華發怒。為了耶羅波安所犯的罪，又為了他使以色列人所犯的罪，耶和華必丟棄以色列人。”
