He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem I will put my Name.”

He built altars in the Lord’ s temple. The Lord had said about his temple,“ I will put my Name there in Jerusalem.”

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem will I put my name.”

He built pagan altars in the Temple of the Lord, the place where the Lord had said,“ My name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”

He built altars in the LORD’s temple, where the LORD had said,“ Jerusalem is where I will put my name.”

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem I will put My name.”

亚哈斯王到大马士革迎接亚述王提革拉‧毗列色，在大马士革看见一座坛。亚哈斯王把坛的规模和样式，以及作法的细节，送到乌利亚祭司那里。乌利亚祭司照着亚哈斯王从大马士革所送来的一切，在亚哈斯王还未从大马士革回来之前，筑了一座坛。王从大马士革回来，看见坛，走近坛前，在坛上献祭。他烧燔祭和素祭，献浇酒祭，将平安祭牲的血洒在坛上。他移动耶和华面前的铜坛，从殿的前面，新坛和耶和华殿的中间，搬到新坛的北边。亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众百姓的燔祭、素祭、浇酒祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和其他祭牲的血全都要洒在这坛上。至于铜坛，我要作求问之用。”乌利亚祭司就照着亚哈斯王所吩咐的一切做了。

耶和华对他说：“我已听了你在我面前的祷告和祈求，将你所建的这殿分别为圣，使我的名永远立在那里；我的眼、我的心也必时常在那里。

但耶和华—你们的神在你们各支派中选择何处作为立他名的居所，你们就要到那里求问，

却拣选犹大支派，拣选他所喜爱的锡安山；建造他的圣所如同高峰，又像他所建立的永存之地。

你要为我筑一座土坛，在上面献牛羊为燔祭和平安祭。凡在我叫你记念我名的地方，我必到那里赐福给你。

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，愿意当作自己的居所：“这是我永远安歇之所；我要住在这地方，因为我愿意在这里。
