人若知道该行善事，却不去行，这就是他的罪了。

我们的神啊，现在，我们还可以说什么呢？只能说：我们又离弃了你的诫命，就是你曾藉着你的仆人众先知所吩咐的。你说：你们进去要得为业之地是污秽的，充满了当地民族的污秽，他们可憎的事使这地从这边到那边都充满了他们的不洁。

“可是他们竟悖逆，背叛你，把你的律法丢在背后，杀害那些控告他们，要他们归向你的先知，犯了亵渎的大罪。

耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷，你杀害先知，又用石头把奉派到你那里的人打死。我多次想招聚你的儿女，好像母鸡招聚小鸡到翅膀底下，只是你们不愿意。

恶人到处横行，邪恶在世人中被高举。

你不但行她们所行的，作她们所作的可憎之事，而且你还以那些事为小，你一切所行的比她们更坏。

然而有一件事我要责备你，就是你容让那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别，教导和引诱我的众仆人行淫乱，吃祭过偶像的食物。

他们却戏弄神的使者，藐视他的话，讥诮他的先知，以致耶和华的忿怒临到他的子民身上，直到无法挽救。

你警告他们，要他们转向你的律法；但他们狂妄自大，不听从你的诫命，犯罪干犯你的典章。人应遵行这些典章，按照它们生活，他们却固执地扭转肩头，硬着颈项，不肯听从。你多年容忍他们，你的灵藉着你的众先知劝戒他们，他们还是不侧耳而听，所以你把他们交在各地的民族手中。

如果我没有来，也没有对他们讲过什么，他们就没有罪；但现在他们的罪是无可推诿的了。

撒玛利亚所犯的罪还不及你所犯的一半；你所行的可憎之事比她更多，以致你的姊妹因你所行的一切可憎之事而显为义。你既然使你的姊妹较显为义，你就要承担自己的耻辱；因为你所犯的罪比她们所犯的更可憎，她们比你更显为义。你使你的姊妹较显为义，所以你就要惭愧，承担自己的耻辱了。

没有听从你的仆人众先知，他们奉你的名向我们的君王、领袖、列祖和国中所有的人民说话。

我们没有听从耶和华我们神的话，没有遵行他藉着他的仆人众先知向我们颁布的律法。以色列众人都违背了你的律法，偏离了你，不听从你的话，因此，神的仆人摩西的律法书上所记载的咒诅和誓言，都倾倒在我们身上；我们实在得罪了神。

我是耶和华你的神，曾把你从埃及地领出来。你要大大张口，我就要给它充满。

以法莲受欺压，被审判压碎；因为他们乐意随从人的命令。
