“你们去，以所发现这书上的话，为我、为百姓、为全犹大求问耶和华；因为我们祖先没有听从这书上的话，没有遵照一切所写有关我们的去行，耶和华就向我们大发烈怒。”

“你們去，為了我、為了人民、為了猶大全國，因著所發現的這書卷上的話求問耶和華，因為耶和華向我們所發的怒氣極大；這是因著我們的祖先沒有聽從這律法書上的話，沒有照著所有寫給我們的去行。”

『你們去，為我、為人民、為猶大眾人、將所發現這一卷書上的話尋問永恆主；因為我們列祖沒有聽從這書上的話，沒有遵行、照這一切所寫關於我們的事，以致永恆主向我們大發烈怒。』

汝其往哉、為我為民、為猶大眾、以此書之言、詢於耶和華、因我列祖不聽此書之言、不遵所載諭我儕者而行、故耶和華向我、發怒甚烈、

爾曹往哉、為我及猶大全族之民、諮諏耶和華、蓋我列祖、未從此書所言、干耶和華震怒。

爾往、為我、為民、為猶大全族、因此書之言問於主、我列祖不聽從此書之言、不遵此書所載一切諭我之命而行、主之烈怒、必向我如火之烈、

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the Lord’s anger that burns against us because those who have gone before us have not obeyed the words of this book; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written there concerning us.”

“ Go. Ask the Lord for advice. Ask him about what is written in this book that has been found. Do it for me. Also do it for the people and the whole nation of Judah. The Lord is very angry with us. That’s because our people who have lived before us didn’t obey the words of this book. They didn’t do everything written there about us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

“ Go to the Temple and speak to the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah. Inquire about the words written in this scroll that has been found. For the Lord’s great anger is burning against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words in this scroll. We have not been doing everything it says we must do.”

“ Go and inquire of the LORD for me, for the people, and for all Judah about the words in this book that has been found. For great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this book in order to do everything written about us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for the wrath of the Lord that burns against us is great, because our fathers did not listen to the words of this book, to act in accordance with everything that is written regarding us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me, for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the Lord that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me, the people, and all Judah about the instruction in this book that has been found. For great is the Lord’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this book in order to do everything written about us.”

Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great[ is] the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go, seek an oracle from the LORD for me and the people– for all Judah. Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the LORD’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do.”

“ Go inquire of Yahweh for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is Yahweh’s wrath that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

遍地将是硫磺和盐，无法耕种，寸草不生，如同耶和华盛怒之下毁灭的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛和洗扁。万国必问，‘耶和华为什么要这样对待这地方？祂为什么大发烈怒？’必有人回答说，‘因为这地方的人背弃了他们祖先的上帝耶和华领他们出埃及时与他们所立的约，去供奉、祭拜他们所不认识、并非耶和华所分派的神明。因此，耶和华向这片土地发怒，把这书上的一切咒诅都降在这里。耶和华盛怒之下把他们从这地方连根拔起，扔到别的地方，正如今日的情形。’

那时，我要向他们发怒，离弃他们，掩面不理他们。他们将被吞灭，遭遇许多祸患和灾难，以致他们会说，‘这些祸患临到我们岂不是因为上帝不在我们中间了吗？’那时，我必掩面不理他们，因为他们祭拜别的神明，行为邪恶。

我们没有听从我们的上帝耶和华的话，没有遵行祂借祂的仆人——众先知给我们颁布的律法。

后来，西底迦王派人把他带到自己的宫中，私下问他：“耶和华有什么话给你吗？”耶利米说：“有，你要被交在巴比伦王手中。”

但我们必照所许的愿向天后烧香奠酒，正如我们和我们的祖先、君王和官长在犹大各城和耶路撒冷街上所做的一样。那时，我们食物充足，生活幸福，无灾无祸。

不可跪拜它们，也不可供奉它们，因为我——你的上帝耶和华痛恨不贞，我必追讨背弃我之人的罪，从父到子直到三四代。

可是，你们的行为比他们更邪恶，一意孤行，不听从我。

耶和华与敬畏祂的人为友，使他们认识祂的约。

扫罗死了，因为他对耶和华不忠，不听从祂的教诲，甚至去求问灵媒，而不求问耶和华。因此，耶和华使他被杀，把王位交给了耶西的儿子大卫。

西底迦王派玛基雅的儿子巴施户珥和玛西雅的儿子西番雅祭司来见耶利米的时候，耶利米听到了耶和华的话。当时，他们对耶利米说：“请你为我们求问耶和华，因为巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来攻打我们，或许耶和华会像以往一样行神迹，使敌人撤军。”

因为祂们发烈怒的大日子到了，谁能站得住呢？”

唯有你当受敬畏。你发怒的时候，谁能在你面前站立呢？

约沙法说：“这里有没有耶和华的先知？我们可以托他求问耶和华。”以色列王的一个臣仆答道：“沙法的儿子以利沙在这里，以前他是以利亚的助手。”

我没认识律法之前是活的，但律法来了之后，罪就活了，而我却死了。

但约沙法问：“这里没有耶和华的先知供我们求问吗？”以色列王回答说：“这里还有一个人，是音拉的儿子米该雅，我们可以托他求问耶和华。可是我厌恶他，因为他给我的预言都是有凶无吉。”约沙法说：“王不要这样说。”

“人子啊，这些人在心里立起偶像，把导致犯罪的绊脚石放在自己面前，我岂能让他们来求问？你告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘任何以色列人若在心里立起偶像，把导致犯罪的绊脚石放在自己面前，又来求问先知，我耶和华必按他心中假神的数目亲自用惩罚回答他，

我们犯罪作恶，行为邪恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命和典章，没有听从你的仆人——众先知奉你的名向我们的君王、首领、先祖及国中百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，我们今日满面羞愧，我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，以及因对你不忠而被驱散到远近各地的以色列人都满面羞愧。主啊，我们和我们的君王、首领、先祖因得罪了你而满脸羞愧。

凡事都要寻求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

他们站在自己的地方，宣读他们上帝耶和华的律法书，长达三个小时。他们又用了三个小时认罪，敬拜他们的上帝耶和华。

因为有律法，就有刑罚；哪里没有律法，哪里就没有违法的事。

“你们去为我、为以色列和犹大的余民求问耶和华有关这书卷上的话。耶和华的烈怒已经临到我们身上，因为我们的祖先没有遵守耶和华的话，没有遵行这书卷上的话。”

的确，主耶和华不向祂的仆人——众先知显明祂的计划，就不会采取任何行动。

我们的祖先行事不忠，做我们的上帝耶和华视为恶的事，背弃祂，转脸背向祂的居所。

第七年五月十日，有几个以色列的长老来到我这里，坐在我面前。耶和华对我说：“人子啊，你要告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘你们是来求问我吗？我凭我的永恒起誓，我决不让你们求问。’

祂发怒，谁能站立？祂发烈怒，谁能承受？祂的愤怒如火焰喷涌而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

他们宣读上帝的律法书，并解释清楚，使民众明白所宣读的。全体民众听到律法书上的话都哭了。尼希米省长、律法教师以斯拉祭司和教导民众的利未人对他们说：“今天是你们上帝耶和华的圣日，不要悲哀、哭泣。”

我们跟祖先一样也犯了罪，行事邪恶。

因为无人能够靠遵行律法而被上帝视为义人，律法的本意是要使人知罪。

我们的祖先犯了罪，已经逝去，我们却要承担他们的罪责。

你们要行道，不要只是听道，自己欺骗自己。因为人听道而不行道，就像照镜子一样，看过后就走了，随即忘记了自己的容貌。但详细查考那使人得自由的全备律法并且持之以恒的人，不是听了就忘，而是身体力行，这样的人必在他所行的事上蒙福。

你们要谨慎，不可忘记你们的上帝耶和华与你们所立的约，不可违背你们上帝耶和华的禁令，去制造任何形状的神像。因为你们的上帝耶和华是烈火，是痛恨不贞的上帝。“将来，即使你们在那里安顿已久、子孙满堂，也不可堕落、制造任何形状的神像，不可做你们的上帝耶和华视为邪恶的事，惹祂发怒。否则，今天我叫天地作证，你们必很快从约旦河对面将要占领的土地上灭亡，你们必被彻底消灭，不得在那里长久居住。耶和华必把你们驱散到列邦，使你们在列邦中的人数所剩无几。
