爾曹往哉、為我及猶大全族之民、諮諏耶和華、蓋我列祖、未從此書所言、干耶和華震怒。

“你们去为我、为民、为犹大众人，以这书上的话求问耶和华；因为我们列祖没有听从这书上的言语，没有遵着书上所吩咐我们的去行，耶和华就向我们大发烈怒。”

“你们去，以所发现这书上的话，为我、为百姓、为全犹大求问耶和华；因为我们祖先没有听从这书上的话，没有遵照一切所写有关我们的去行，耶和华就向我们大发烈怒。”

『你們去，為我、為人民、為猶大眾人、將所發現這一卷書上的話尋問永恆主；因為我們列祖沒有聽從這書上的話，沒有遵行、照這一切所寫關於我們的事，以致永恆主向我們大發烈怒。』

汝其往哉、為我為民、為猶大眾、以此書之言、詢於耶和華、因我列祖不聽此書之言、不遵所載諭我儕者而行、故耶和華向我、發怒甚烈、

爾往、為我、為民、為猶大全族、因此書之言問於主、我列祖不聽從此書之言、不遵此書所載一切諭我之命而行、主之烈怒、必向我如火之烈、

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the Lord’s anger that burns against us because those who have gone before us have not obeyed the words of this book; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written there concerning us.”

“ Go. Ask the Lord for advice. Ask him about what is written in this book that has been found. Do it for me. Also do it for the people and the whole nation of Judah. The Lord is very angry with us. That’s because our people who have lived before us didn’t obey the words of this book. They didn’t do everything written there about us.”

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

“ Go to the Temple and speak to the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah. Inquire about the words written in this scroll that has been found. For the Lord’s great anger is burning against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words in this scroll. We have not been doing everything it says we must do.”

Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go and inquire of the Lord for me, the people, and all Judah about the instruction in this book that has been found. For great is the Lord’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this book in order to do everything written about us.”

Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great[ is] the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.

“ Go, seek an oracle from the LORD for me and the people– for all Judah. Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the LORD’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do.”

硫磺及鹽、焚燬徧地、不得耕耘、無物產、無草萊、如所多馬、蛾摩拉、押馬、西編、為耶和華所怒、而使之傾覆者、俱必問曰、耶和華降罰於斯土、何為至於如此、其烈怒之甚、又曷故乎。人必曰、昔導斯民出於埃及、其祖之上帝耶和華與之立約、斯民違其言、從他上帝而崇奉之、然他上帝彼所未識、耶和華亦未嘗姑聽其服事、故震怒斯民、以書所載之咒詛、加乎其身。耶和華怒甚烈、氣甚憤、拔其根株、驅逐於異邦、即以今日之事為證。

其時我必震怒、遺棄斯民、不復眷顧、使其並吞於人、多更災患、彼必曰、我不蒙上帝所佑、致遭此禍。夫斯民蹈於愆尤、從事他上帝、故不復鑒觀以眷顧之、

我儕違逆、不遵我之上帝耶和華、不從爾臣僕諸先知訓我之律例、

西底家召之出獄、令潛入其宮、問曰、耶和華有所命乎。耶利米曰、有、爾必解於巴比倫王手。

我所欲者我必為之、昔我列祖、王公、在猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢焚香灌奠、奉事天后、當時咸得果腹、所遇亨通、不遘患難、

毋拜跪、無崇奉、以我耶和華、即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、

爾濟祖惡尤甚、各縱私欲、不遵我命、

寅畏耶和華、心與之交、耶和華必示以真理兮、

掃羅犯罪、違耶和華命、不詢於耶和華、乃問於憑卜神者、故耶和華殺之、移其國祚、以畀耶西之子大闢。

西底家王遣馬其亞子巴述、祭司馬西雅子西番雅、見耶利米而告之曰、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒攻我、爾為我禱耶和華、庶幾耶和華仍顯異跡、俾不攻予、時耶利米奉耶和華命、

蓋羔大怒之日至矣、孰能當之、

爾有威可畏、厥怒奮揚、莫能禦兮、

約沙法曰、在此豈無耶和華之先知、容我問耶和華。以色列王之臣對曰、供以利亞盥手之役者、沙法子以利沙在此。

故昔未有法而我生、誡至、惡生而我死、

約沙法曰、外此尚有耶和華之先知、以備諮諏否。以色列王曰、尚有一人、音拉子米該亞、可以之諮諏耶和華。然我嘗憾其人、因彼所預言、有凶而無吉。約沙法曰、王毋言是。

人子、斯人之於偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、豈得諮諏於我乎。故爾當以我耶和華之命、播告斯眾、曰、以色列族之於偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、後就先知、諮諏於我、我耶和華、必視其偶像之多寡、而降以罰、

我儕犯罪作惡、違爾律例、棄爾禮儀、爾臣僕諸先知、藉爾之名、告我王公祖父國民之語、我不聽從、主秉公義、惟我儕猶大人耶路撒冷居民、以色列族眾、無論遐邇、因犯罪愆、為爾驅逐、星散於四方、俱當含羞、今日之事為證。我與我王公列祖、獲罪乎主、必當抱愧蒙羞、

凡事崇主、則蒙啟導。

是日一時四刻、立於其次、誦上帝耶和華律例之書、又一時四刻、任罪崇拜上帝。

有法、此有刑、無法、則無犯法、

曰我得斯書、不明厥旨、爾曹往哉、為我及猶大以色列之遺民、諮諏耶和華、蓋我列祖未從此書所言、干耶和華震怒。

主耶和華所作、必啟示其僕先知、

蓋我諸父曾犯罪作惡於我上帝耶和華前不敬聖室、

約雅斤被擄之七年、五月十日、以色列族長老數人咸集、諮諏耶和華、坐於我前、耶和華諭我曰、人子、當告以色列族長老、云、主耶和華曰、爾來諮諏於我、我指己而誓、不許爾與我言。

厥怒奮發、若山巔出火、孰能自立、厥氣憤烈、若磐巖崩裂、孰能得生、

利未人朗誦上帝律例之書、疏通其義、俾民明晰。民聞書所云、咸哭、方伯尼希米、選士祭司以士喇、與訓民之利未人、告眾曰、今乃聖日、奉事爾之上帝耶和華、毋哀哭。

列祖犯罪、我儕濟其惡、愆尤叢集、

蓋恃法而行者、無人得稱義於上帝前、法第使人知罪耳、

予之列祖、蹈於愆尤、遂致殞滅、今予負其罪戾兮。

不第聞道已也、實踐之、毋自欺、聞而不行者、譬人以鏡鑒面、過此以往、其形容若何、遂忘之矣、不強制人之良法、人詳察而常目在之、非猶夫聞而忘者、必若遵而行者、如是則得福、

慎勿忘爾上帝耶和華所立之約、勿雕偶像、干犯厥命、蓋爾上帝耶和華如火之燎、斷不容以他上帝匹之。厥後爾久居斯土生子傳孫、自壞心術、雕刻偶像、作惡於汝上帝耶和華前、以干厥怒。我今日指天地以作證、爾於所得約但之西境、不能延命、乃必滅甚速、至於盡亡。耶和華必散爾於四方、所遺於列國者、亦已無幾、
