He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans— a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.

Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

He carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, 10,000 captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, except the poorest people of the land.

King Nebuchadnezzar took all of Jerusalem captive, including all the commanders and the best of the soldiers, craftsmen, and artisans— 10,000 in all. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

He deported all Jerusalem and all the commanders and all the best soldiers— ten thousand captives including all the craftsmen and metalsmiths. Except for the poorest people of the land, no one remained.

Then he led into exile all the people of Jerusalem and all the commanders and all the valiant warriors, ten thousand exiles, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None were left except the poorest people of the land.

但是護衛長仍將猶大地最貧寒的一些人留下來做修理葡萄園和種地的人。

以下是尼布甲尼撒使人民流亡的數目：在他的第七年有猶大人三千零二十三名；

一切有力氣的人、七千名、和匠人鐵匠一千人、這一切能作戰的勇士、巴比倫王都使他們流亡到巴比倫去。

第三十年四月初五日、我在迦巴魯河邊流亡人之中，天開了，我看見關於上帝的異象。當約雅斤王流亡了去的第五年、四月初五日、

在野外的眾將軍和他們屬下的人聽見巴比倫王立了亞希甘的兒子基大利做本地的總督，並將那些沒有流亡到巴比倫去的男人、婦女、幼童、和本地極窮的人、都交給他管理，

使國低微，不能挺起，惟獨守約才得以存立。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒使猶大王約雅敬的兒子耶哥尼雅和猶大的首領跟匠人、鐵匠、從耶路撒冷流亡去，給帶到巴比倫：這事以後，永恆主給我看個異象：看哪，有兩筐無花果，放在永恆主的殿堂前。一筐是極好的無花果，好像首先熟的無花果；一筐是極壞的無花果，壞到喫不得。於是永恆主問我說：『耶利米啊，你看見甚麼？』我說：『我看見無花果，那好的無花果好極啦，那壞的壞極啦，壞到喫不得。』永恆主的話就傳與我說：『永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：猶大流亡的人、我所打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的、我必看他們好，如同這些好的無花果。

西弗人上基比亞去見掃羅、說：『大衛不是在我們那裏、在何列沙山寨中、荒野南邊的哈基拉山藏着麼？王啊，現在請下去，隨你心願下去，我們呢、總要將他送交王手裏。』掃羅說：『願你們蒙永恆主賜福；因為你們顧惜我。你們去進一步查實；要準知道、要看清楚他腳蹤所在的地方——其實誰看見他在那裏呢？——因為人都對我說，他很狡猾。

（這是在耶哥尼雅王、和太后、太監，跟猶大耶路撒冷的首領、以及工匠鐵匠都從耶路撒冷出降了以後。）

但是護衛長尼布撒拉旦仍將人民中一些毫無所有的窮人留在猶大地，同時也給他們葡萄園和耕種地。

約雅斤登極的時候十八歲；他在耶路撒冷作王三個月零十天；他行了永恆主所看為壞的事。到了年頭、尼布甲尼撒差遣了人將約雅斤帶到巴比倫，連同永恆主殿裏珍寶的器皿都帶去；他就立約雅斤的叔叔西底家作王來管理猶大和耶路撒冷。
