約沙法說：『他有永恆主的話語。』於是以色列王和約沙法跟以東王都下去見他。

Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ The Lord speaks through him.” So the king of Israel went down to see Elisha. Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom also went there.

And Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ Yes, the Lord speaks through him.” So the king of Israel, King Jehoshaphat of Judah, and the king of Edom went to consult with Elisha.

Jehoshaphat affirmed,“ The word of the LORD is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went to him.

And Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

And Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

And Jehoshaphat said, The word of Jehovah is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Jehoshaphat affirmed,“ The Lord’s words are with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went to him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ The LORD speaks through him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to visit him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ Yahweh’s word is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

列王必做你的養父，他們的王后必做你的奶媽；他們必將臉伏地，向你下拜，餂你腳上的塵土；你便知道我乃是永恆主，等候我的必不至於失望。』

乃縵回到神人那裏，他和他的全衛隊都去；他來，站在神人面前，說：『看哪，如今我才知道，除了以色列中之外，在全地上都沒有上帝；現在請從僕人接收點祝福禮物。』

撒母耳長大了；永恆主和他同在，使他所說的話沒有一句墜地落空。從但到別是巴全以色列眾人都知道撒母耳是被確立為永恆主的神言人的。永恆主又在示羅顯現了，因為永恆主在示羅用他自己的話將自己向撒母耳啓現出來。

就把以利亞身上掉下來的外衣擊打河水，說：『永恆主以利亞的上帝現在在哪裏呢？』便擊打了河水；水左右分開，以利沙就過來。那些在離不太遠的耶利哥神言人弟子們看見他，就說：『那感動以利亞的靈真地住在以利沙身上了。』他們就來迎接他，俯伏於地拜他。

他出去到水之源那裏，將鹽倒在水裏，說：『永恆主這麼說：「我治好了這水，此後再也不會有死亡或不能生產的事從這裏發出了。」』

他回頭看着他們，就奉永恆主的名咒詛他們。於是有兩隻母熊從森林中出來，撕裂他們中間四十二個孩子。以利沙從那裏往迦密山去、又從迦密山那裏回到撒瑪利亞。

那素來苦待你的、他們的子孫都必來，屈身拜你；那些藐視你的、都必在你腳下叩拜；他們必稱你為永恆主的城，以色列之聖者的錫安。

看吧，我必叫撒但集團的人，那說自己是猶太人、其實不是、乃是撒謊的——看吧，我必叫他們來，在你腳前下拜，知道我愛你。

神人以利沙聽說以色列王撕裂衣服，就打發人去見王說：『你為甚麼撕裂衣服啊？請叫他來找我，他就知道以色列中有神言人了。』於是乃縵帶着車馬而來，在以利沙家門口站住。
