以利沙說：「究竟可以為她做甚麼呢？」基哈西說：「她真的沒有兒子，她丈夫也老了。」

以利沙对仆人说：“究竟当为她做什么呢？”基哈西说：“她没有儿子，她丈夫也老了。”

以利沙说：“究竟可以为她做什么呢？”基哈西说：“她真的没有儿子，她丈夫也老了。”

以利沙说：“究竟可以为她做什么呢？”基哈西说：“她真的没有儿子，她丈夫也老了。”

以利沙问基哈西：“我们能为她做什么呢？”基哈西说：“她没有儿子，丈夫也已经老了。”

于是他说：“我到底可以为她作些什么呢？”基哈西说：“她没有儿子，而她的丈夫又老了。”

以利沙對僕人說：「究竟當為她做甚麼呢？」基哈西說：「她沒有兒子，她丈夫也老了。」

以利沙說：「究竟可以為她做甚麼呢？」基哈西說：「她真的沒有兒子，她丈夫也老了。」

以利沙問基哈西：「我們能為她做什麼呢？」基哈西說：「她沒有兒子，丈夫也已經老了。」

於是他說：“我到底可以為她作些甚麼呢？”基哈西說：“她沒有兒子，而她的丈夫又老了。”

以利沙說：『究竟要為她作甚麼呢？』基哈西說：『實情是、她沒有兒子，她丈夫也老了。』

以利沙曰、然則為之何為、基哈西曰、婦無子、其夫已老矣、

以利沙又告從者曰、當為之何為。其哈西曰、婦尚無子、其夫年邁。

以利沙又謂其僕曰、當為之何為、基哈西曰、婦尚無子、其夫年邁、

“ What can be done for her?” Elisha asked. Gehazi said,“ She has no son, and her husband is old.”

After she left, Elisha asked Gehazi,“ What can we do for her?” Gehazi said,“ She doesn’t have a son. And her husband is old.”

And he said,“ What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered,“ Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

Later Elisha asked Gehazi,“ What can we do for her?” Gehazi replied,“ She doesn’t have a son, and her husband is an old man.”

So he asked,“ Then what should be done for her?” Gehazi answered,“ Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

So he said,“ What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered,“ It is a fact that she has no son, and her husband is old.”

So he said,“ What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered,“ Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no son, and her husband is old.

So he asked,“ Then what should be done for her?” Gehazi answered,“ Well, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

And he said, What then[ is] to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.

So he asked Gehazi,“ What can I do for her?” Gehazi replied,“ She has no son, and her husband is old.”

He said,“ What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered,“ Most certainly she has no son, and her husband is old.”

他有兩個妻子：一個名叫哈拿，另一個名叫毗尼拿。毗尼拿有孩子，哈拿卻沒有孩子。

她丈夫以利加拿對她說：「哈拿，你為何哭泣？為何不吃飯？為何傷心難過呢？有我不比有十個兒子更好嗎？」

以撒因他妻子不生育，就為她祈求耶和華。耶和華應允他的祈求，他的妻子利百加就懷了孕。

有一位說：「明年這時候，我一定會回到你這裏。看哪，你的妻子撒拉會生一個兒子。」撒拉在那人後面的帳棚門口也聽見了。亞伯拉罕和撒拉都年紀老邁，撒拉的月經已停了。撒拉心裏竊笑，說：「我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有這喜事呢？」耶和華對亞伯拉罕說：「撒拉為甚麼竊笑，說：『我已年老，果真能生育嗎？』耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？到了所定的時候，我必回到你這裏。明年這時候，撒拉會生一個兒子。」

拉結見自己不給雅各生孩子，就嫉妒她姊姊，對雅各說：「你給我孩子，不然，讓我死了吧。」

亞伯拉罕就臉伏於地竊笑，心裏想：「一百歲的人還能有孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生育嗎？」

那時，有一個但支派的瑣拉人，名叫瑪挪亞。他的妻子不懷孕，不生育。

只是他們沒有孩子，因為伊利莎白不生育，兩個人又年紀老邁了。

亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊，我還沒有兒子，你能賜我甚麼呢？承受我家業的是大馬士革人以利以謝。」亞伯蘭又說：「看哪，你沒有給我後嗣。你看，那生在我家中的人要繼承我。」
