But the child’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

But the child’s mother said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So Elisha got up and followed her.

Then the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

But the boy’s mother said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I won’t go home unless you go with me.” So Elisha returned with her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

The mother of the boy said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose and followed her.

And the mother of the child said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The boy’s mother said to Elisha,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.

And the mother of the child said,[ As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

The mother of the child said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha got up and followed her back.

The child’s mother said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So he arose, and followed her.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel. (niv)

Then Elijah said to him,“ Stay here, Elisha; the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” And he replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho. (niv)

But Ruth replied,“ Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her. (niv)

Moses said to the Lord,“ You have been telling me,‘ Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said,‘ I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”The Lord replied,“ My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”Then Moses said to him,“ If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” (niv)
