Elisha returned to Gilgal and there was a famine in that region. While the company of the prophets was meeting with him, he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot and cook some stew for these prophets.”

Elisha returned to Gilgal. There wasn’t enough food to eat in that area. The group of the prophets was meeting with Elisha. So he said to his servant,“ Put the large pot over the fire. Cook some stew for these prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal when there was a famine in the land. And as the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant,“ Set on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

Elisha now returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. One day as the group of prophets was seated before him, he said to his servant,“ Put a large pot on the fire, and make some stew for the rest of the group.”

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. The sons of the prophets were sitting before him. He said to his attendant,“ Put on the large pot and make stew for the sons of the prophets.”

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting in front of him, he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. Now the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant,“ Put on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal. And there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and boil pottage for the sons of the prophets.

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. The sons of the prophets were sitting at his feet. He said to his attendant,“ Put on the large pot and make stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and[ there was] a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets[ were] sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.

Now Elisha went back to Gilgal, while there was famine in the land. Some of the prophets were visiting him and he told his servant,“ Put the big pot on the fire and boil some stew for the prophets.”

Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant,“ Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

伯特利的眾先知出來見以利沙，問他：「你知道耶和華今天要接走你師傅嗎？」他說：「我知道，請不要作聲。」

耶和華用旋風接以利亞升天之前，以利亞和以利沙正在離開吉甲的路上。

以利沙曾經救活了一位書念婦人的兒子。他對那婦人說：「你和家人要離開這裡去別處寄居，因為耶和華已決定使這裡遭受七年饑荒。」

瑪大的妹妹瑪麗亞坐在耶穌腳前聽道，

「我是猶太人，生於基利迦的大數，在耶路撒冷長大，曾在迦瑪列門下嚴格地按著我們祖先的律法接受教育，像你們今日一樣熱心事奉上帝。

我要斷絕你們的糧源。那時候，十個婦女將用一個烤爐烤餅，按定量分餅給你們，你們吃卻吃不飽。

「我憐憫這些人，他們跟我在一起已經三天，沒有任何吃的了。如果讓他們餓著肚子回家，他們在路上會體力不支，因為有些人是遠道而來的。」門徒說：「在這荒野，如何找到足夠的食物給這些人吃呢？」耶穌問：「你們有多少餅？」門徒答道：「七個。」耶穌便吩咐大家坐在地上，然後拿著那七個餅祝謝了，掰開，遞給門徒，讓門徒分給大家，門徒就把餅分給大家。

那從前被鬼附身的人懇求跟耶穌同行，耶穌卻對他說：

「你們種的多，卻收的少，因為莊稼必被蝗蟲吃掉。「你們栽種、修剪葡萄園，卻吃不到葡萄，也喝不到葡萄酒，因為葡萄必被蟲子吃掉。「你們境內長滿橄欖樹，卻沒有橄欖油抹身，因為橄欖必未熟先落。

「祂要使你們遭受癆病、熱症、瘧疾、炙熱、刀劍、乾旱和黴爛之災，直到你們滅亡。「祂要使你們頭頂的天如銅，腳下的地如鐵。「祂要使雨水變為塵土，降在你們身上，直到你們滅亡。

在大衛執政期間，連續有三年饑荒，大衛就求問耶和華。耶和華說：「發生這饑荒是因為掃羅一家人的血債，他們殺害了基遍人。」

你們也知道，拿撒勒人耶穌是上帝用聖靈和大能膏立的。祂周遊四方，廣行善事，醫好被魔鬼壓制的人，因為上帝與祂同在。

他們上岸後，看見有一堆炭火，上面有魚和餅。

「人子啊，若有國家犯罪背叛我，我必伸手斷絕他們的糧源，使饑荒遍地，毀滅人和牲畜。

事實上，在以利亞先知的時代，天乾旱無雨達三年半之久，遍地有大饑荒。那時，以色列國有許多寡婦，

過了一些日子，保羅對巴拿巴說：「我們回到曾傳過福音的各城鎮去探望弟兄姊妹吧，好知道他們的情況。」

耶和華告訴耶利米有關旱災的事：「猶大充滿悲泣，她的城邑衰敗，人人坐在地上痛哭，耶路撒冷哀鳴四起。貴族派僕人去水池打水，僕人去那裡發現沒有水，就帶著空瓶垂頭喪氣、羞愧難當地回去了。天不下雨，土地乾裂，農夫沮喪地抱著頭。因為沒有草，田野的母鹿拋棄了剛生下來的小鹿；因為沒有草，野驢站在光禿的山頭上像豺狼一樣喘氣，雙目無神。」

三天後，他們才在聖殿裡找到耶穌，祂正和教師們坐在一起，一邊聽一邊問問題。

他每年都到伯利恆、吉甲、米斯巴各地巡迴，審理以色列人的案件。之後，他才回到拉瑪自己的家中，也在那裡審理以色列人的案件，並為耶和華築了一座祭壇。

就派人去捉拿他。掃羅的人看到一群先知在說預言，撒母耳在當中帶領他們。上帝的靈也臨到掃羅的人，他們也說起預言來。

人們出來看個究竟，到了耶穌那裡，發現那曾被鬼附身的人衣著整齊、神智清醒地坐在耶穌腳前，他們都很害怕。

耶穌對他們說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」使徒們說：「我們只有五個餅和兩條魚，除非我們去買食物才夠這麼一大群人吃。」

你要向叛逆的以色列人說比喻，告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，『把鍋放在火上，裡面倒進水，

耶穌說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒說：「我們哪來這麼多錢買東西給他們吃啊？」

人若聽從我、天天在我門口仰望、時時在我門邊等候，就有福了。

耶穌對他們說：「孩子們，打到魚沒有？」他們回答說：「沒有！」
